I live in a massive city of 15 million people. I love Da Nang because it's quiet, pleasant, has nice beaches, friendly locals and it's cheap. Not everyone vacations strictly for notches. Sometimes it's good to leave the big cities for a sleepy little coastal city. I felt genuinely refreshed after 8 days in Da Nang. I intend to head this again next time I visit Vietnam.
