There's almost no nightlife to speak of except for an underground(literally) club called Aqualounge next to Rodeo Dr. Actually I just looked it up and found that it's now been remodeled and is called Confidential and has asshole bouncers.
There's no telling what type of "house" she lives in. I think there's a misconception that BH is all celebrities and millionaires. If you look up the median income of BH residents, it's mostly upper middle class. Your average person there is probably an attorney, movie producer or doctor, not David Beckham. A home there could be anything from a $400,000 condo to some stately mansion up in the hills. There's no run down parts of BH, but it's not all super rich either(they prefer Malibu, Bel Aire, Hollywood Hills or even Santa Barbara).
Closest legitimate nightlife will be W. Hollywood, Sunset strip or Westwood Village.
