Australian in America

I've spent alot of time in Las Vegas, years... I don't think an Australian accent is as exotic as it was a decade or so ago. After about a minute of conversation, with say, an American female, the novelty will wear off, and she'll treat you like she treats any other American male. Great ice breaker for sure though, use it to your advantage, but I wouldn't go into this thinking it's a major advantage.

And yes, there are millions and millions of people working under the table in the United States. But if you're an Australian with a 1st world background, I doubt you'd be willing to do the jobs which people whom work under the table tend to do. If you're looking to make some money, you can definitely do so in any major US city as a trader or some niche product.
