Game for big guys

I don't think a bigger guy has to be "goofy" or "the life of the party". What he does have to do, in my experience and in watching guys even much larger than myself, is that they have to break expectations. If you are a 6'3" 265 lbs man that can tackle an intellectual subject, they might be surprised that you aren't a gym rat meat head like many big guys are. Defy expectations. If you are genuinely huge, even smiling helps break the ice when you consider the average woman (who is normal weight) is LITERALLY HALF your weight. My Chinese ex was a 95 lbs spinner @ 5'0". She loved rested against my chest, because in her words, it made her feel really small and protected. Women want protection, smaller women especially so. In fact, short girls guy strongly for tall guys, even more so than even taller women in my experience. Tall girls want tall guys too, but I find that short girls will compete hard for a tall guy's attention. It is natures way of making sure the height gene pool doesn't get too extreme on either end of the spectrum.

I think that larger guys are giving more leeway when it comes to smiling around women, because it defuses the threat instinct if you're huge. Don't smile when there's no reason, but just showing that you're not a threat is half the game when a woman is literally outclassed by you 2x or even 3x their size. In short, defy expectations. Don't be a meat head, either have something funny to say or prove that you aren't just a massive hulking caveman by having something interesting to say. General game stuff, only I think big dudes are given more wiggle room regarding comfort game and smiling, and assume there's already natural attraction based on your size alone. In my experience, if you're over 6' tall, the extra bulk is just a bonus unless you're genuinely fat.
