Thanks buddy. This is like a hidden thing. I signed up on the online thing. Just have to figure out which of those Visa categories I fall into and go forward.
Question: What OTHER expenses did you have to make before this whole thing got state sponsored?
Example: Did you have to pay some Organization / Company to do a Skills Assessment of your work profile?

They have a regional list and a statewide list. The only difference between normal Permanent Res app is the visa was fast tracked, and I have to live in Victoria State because they sponsored me.

That means you CAN work in Melbourne.
Some Qs here:

The Govt Sponsored applications.. Can you do them:
- State only or National as well? (Gives you freedom between Melbourne & Sydney if you get National Auth.. But I am sure the State oriented ones get faster response?)
- One state only? More states? (Apply to both states: Mel & Syd.. See who comes back sooner? Or can you get & accept BOTH responses)
Thoughts on this?  

So the Victoria state thing got it done FASTER because it was not a National Level WAITING LIST?
How long did your thing take from application submission to approval?
