Back when I bar tended my dumb ass manager bought 30 cases of this off brand energy drink from another bartender who was involved in a similar scheme. It tasted like ass so nobody bought it. It just ate up space in our already crammed beer cooler until eventually he gave it away to the dish washing crew and line cooks. Somehow the idiot kept his job despite his tendency for pissing away company assets. I'm pretty certain he also bought some off brand liquor from the same bartender, that, once again, collected dust until it was given away. These schemes can be spotted from a mile away, and usually the products they're selling are garbage.
