What language did you speak to the girls in? Was there a reasonable level of English competency amongst the upper-middle class, or are they still using French as their default 'other' language?
How was it price wise?
Tunisia is dirt cheap at the moment. We were staying in 4 star hotels with a pool, breakfast included, for only €25 a night each!
English is widely spoken among upper-middle class girls (and everywhere really), followed by French and then Arabic. Some upper-middle class don't even speak Arabic! Anyway, my friends had no problem talking to chicks with just English.
English speakers will have few problems here chatting up girls, but a smattering of French/Arabic helps for day-to-day stuff.
