I've posted on here before about how I always feel sleepy, despite being very active.
Even when I get 8-9h of sleep, I stil wake up grouchy and low energy.
Over the last months I've been noticing, that if I take 4-5 drinks the night, I wake up in the morning after just 6h of sleep, completely sober and awake, feeling good. No drowsiness nor dizziness. I'm more effective at work, more reactive etc.
After it happened for the 5th time, I decided this must not be coincidence.
Read up on it a bit and people say that though alcohol makes you sleep less, the sleep quality is lower. Not true in my case, I wake up totally fine and sober.
Anyone can explain why? And does this mean I should keep boozing away every weekday to be super effective at work?
Thanks
I think alcohol enhances your circulation short term, and invigorates you. Also its an anti-depressant and also clears out mental blocks etc in SMALL usage. Sounds like other things are making you tired without alcohol. (Also too much sleep can also make you tired!)
But it also lowers the quality of your sleep. You'll prob feel a crash if u wait 2 or 3 days.
Really regular drinking is a bad idea.
Maybe u should find a new socialising recreational and fitness hobby to reinvigorate yourself. Just my gut feeling. But a little bit of drink won't kill you.
I gave up binge drinking a long while back. Wish I'd done so far sooner.
