Preface:
A few years ago i started my own business, and since then I haven't done much, if any, dating. I've put everything into getting myself off the ground and established and now that I've accomplished that, I've been working more on myself. I've been hitting the gym, reading books, taking care of myself in terms of diet and supplementation, and I'm happy with the results I've been getting even in this short time.
Anyway, now that you have my own backstory, let me get on to my question.
A few weeks ago, a new girl started at one of my clients' offices. The thing is, she's very shy and quiet. I walked by her the other day and said hello and smiled at her and she literally said hi and smiled and looked down. Seemed too shy to even keep the eye contact. Today, perhaps inspired by Donald Trump's example, I made it a point to break through my own shyness and go up to her and talk and ask her to hang out, made clear my intentions, etc. She said she wanted to and I gave her my little notepad and pen and she wrote down her number and name, which was kind of funny since it's not like I don't know who she is. So I told her I would call her to go out and that was it.
The thing is, I don't really know how to handle someone so shy. Like I said, I've been out of this whole thing for quite awhile and am slightly out of touch with what to do. I've spent a lot of time reading, and I've seen that I should text, should call, should wait 2 days, should wait 3 days, should just say fuck it and send her a text now.
My first instinct is that I should wait and maybe talk to her a little bit tomorrow and give her a call tomorrow night. I already got her number and she's definitely interested, but very reserved. Is what I'm thinking right?
