As a US citizen you are subject to arrest for statutory rape if you have sex with any non-pro girl under the age of 16, regardless if the local sexual consent law says she can be 13 (like Spain)! This is if she is NOT a hooker, if she is a pro, she must be 18, regardless of local consent laws that can be much lower!
So, an 18+ year old US Citizen having sex with a 15 year old in Spain or Colombia/Brazil, is facing prison-time if he is reported to US authorities even though their local laws allow it to their citizens.
If a US citizen 18+ is reported to have sex with a prostitute under the age of 18 in Colombia/Brazil or anywhere in the world outside US, he is going to US prison for statutory rape. In US, it is illegal to hire a pro at ANY AGE (except some parts of Vegas).
