Amour, there's two airports in Rio. You're probably thinking of the big international one (GIG). Slubu probably flew into Santos-Dumont, which is very close to the Lagoa and Ipanema. I've flown into both, but I prefer Santos. That's the airport used when you fly regionally or nationally.
