I think a line needs to be drawn between the emulation of certain "dark triad" characteristics that women find attractive, and actually being a sociopath.
Am I an asshole around the girls I'm in a relationship with or gaming? Yeah, I am sometimes. I tease them, sure...and they often give it right back as it seems to be in their nature.
But the careful observer will note that I try to never directly hit them with putdowns, insults, or snide remarks. IMO that's for guys who are frustrated that women aren't what they want them to be, who don't try at "abundance mentality", and think that type of manipulation will get the girl to change.
It never will. So what's the purpose?
