Interesting idea. Having done it for my son it's amazing when you start how you think it's simple but it's actually harder than it seems, even with children's books.
You have to be able to scan the entire sentence before you start it because if you accidentally structure the flow incorrectly then several words later you sound like an idiot.
It's probably the reason that politicians who use teleprompters have speech patterns that become absolute clichés. It's not just about brand building but the simple fact that you can't enunciate random sentences a few words at a time without sounding like an idiot unless you have an agreed upon sentence structure coupled with standardised system of timing and a generic phrase library.
