I would put Perth and Adelaide's beaches ahead of Melbourne's. I mean Australia is known for it's beach culture, and most Australian's say Melbourne lacks beaches.
Sydney has the best, then Perth, the Gold Coast and Newcastle.
He picked it right with Melbourne being the best city for day game, in fact I never viewed it that way before, but one of the best in the world, especially in summer.

Canada had the legacy of the worl'd first multiculturalism, i.e. the french quebecois refusing to assimilate. It lent itself to soft-cockery galore, and with them being protected by big borther south of the border, it has been able to avoid to harsh realities of the world, whilst espousing socialist ideals from a pedestal.
Sadly we aren't too far behind. However i think our saving grace will be proximity to hordes of hyper feminine Asian chicks, breeding out the entitled fat whale.

I can understand melbourne not being receptive to some black guys. They are a bit hipster, and they tend to want to be qualified by smarmy, witty guys. If a brother who is a weak gamer tries his black-bravado it can fail.

Melbourne overall would be the best place to visit in Australia right now for people who aren't specifically after any one thing that is unique to Australia.. such as GBR/Ningallo scuba diving, or viewing Flora and Fauna. But in all honesty, I would not advise anyone to come to Australia for a 2-4 week trip at this point in time.
