One thing to realize is that it's incredibly difficult to diet and build muscle. Unless you have the body mass you already need - in that case you just need to lose weight - then you'll need to build muscle and that requires eating. You should eat healthy, but you'll need a lot of protein to build the muscle mass. You can do a lot in four months.
I like "Only One Man's" suggestion for a routine:
Monday- shoulders
Tuesday- legs
Wednesday-back
Thursday- chest
Keep it simple and you're more inclined to stick with it. This talk about some crazy vegetable fast diet for two weeks is, in my opinion, setting yourself up for failure. Eat when you're hungry, but eat the right foods (veggies, fruits, lean protein, etc). My personal opinion is you should go paleo and ditch the gluten, grains, preservatives and any of that other shit. Good luck.
