I met a young woman outside a Cathedral the other day, and had a short discussion about Demons in the architecture and the nature of the Devil. In my somewhat shaky understanding of German, she stated that it was now obvious that he was in control of this domain because everything that is Evil is being touted as a Virtue. She was peaceful about it. "I have faith, because everything Christians have been told would happen, is happening, and it means Christ is near."
Whilst Faith is still an unknown to me, I'm seeing more and more of this over the last year or so: people stating a) that things are very wrong with the world; and b) exactly what they believe in; both during what would have been casual conversation just two years ago. Almost like a confession of faith. Almost like they're weighing the souls of those they're talking to for future reference of who can be trusted. I'm seeing secure faith and quiet passion in the oddest of places, particularly from women.
Something is coming to a head.
Evidence shows that history tends to repeat itself. All great historical empires tilt into the perverse, degenerate, and extreme progressive before falling. It's hubris plain and simple.
