I spent 10 days in Reykjavik last October. I didn't get the flag unfortunately, even though I could if I had absolutely no standards - an ugly woman in her 40s approached me on the street at 5 AM, on my first night there, but I passed. ![[Image: lol.gif]](https://rooshvforum.network/images/smilies/new/lol.gif)
I struggled a lot with the closing times on my first weekend there. I don't think that waiting until 4 AM to start approaching, as Roosh suggests on his book, is a viable strategy, as most clubs start emptying out at least half an hour before that, so you miss a lot of opportunities. That said, it makes sense to first try pulling from the clubs/bars, then 10/11, then the hot dog stands, and then the streets as a final, desperate attempt. On Thursdays, it happens until 1 AM and only a couple of venues will have enough volume for approaching.
Bakkus has been closed for a few years now. Dolly also doesn't exist anymore.
B5 is where the top quality goes. Get there before 00.30, or buckle in for a long queue. Most girls, with the exception of some nasty bitches, are friendly to approaches there. The dancefloor becomes impossible to work after 2 AM or so, given that the place is at maximum capacity and everyone is drunk on the verge of passing out. The same can be said about the bathroom area downstairs. Instead, go to the smoking area outside, even if you don't smoke. You can easily open and talk to girls there, although it's questionable whether your interactions will go anywhere, given the social circle issue.
Austur has slightly lower quality than B5, and is more suited for high energy guys with good dancing floor game. It was the best option on the Thursday night I was there. I didn't like this venue to be honest.
Bar 11 was my favourite venue, and I regret only heading there on my second weekend (I wasted a lot of time at B5 on my first weekend). The music is great if you don't mind 1990's rock and roll, and the girls seemed very open to making out there. Unlike B5 and Austur, most people stay until closing time here.
Prikid: I didn't go in there, it didn't seem to be any good on weekends. It was quite packed on Thursday night, but full of druken English tourists and quality was surely lower than Austur.
Loftid: This is the place to go if you are looking to bang an Icelandic cougar. The crowd was quite older here, and drink prices were high. It still seemed a fun place to spend an hour or so.
10/11: Their 7-Eleven. Sprint here after closing time, it's very possible to pull from here. I was able to get a makeout, but her friends cockblocked me.
For online game, there is a lot of volume on Tinder, but the girls were not responsive at all. I have no idea what the optimal online game is for these stone cold Icelandic girls. No volume on Happn either (it may have increased since then).
I have a few pet peeves with Iceland. The place is expensive and difficult to get to, the weather is unpleasant (the cold didn't bother me as much as the excessive rainshowers did), and interacting with the locals is mostly a cold experience, except for that short time window at the weekends when they're drunk. By all means, go there to see the nature and do the tours (I especially recommend riding the quad bikes), but only go there for the girls if you're okay with the idea of bearing all of the above while having only a couple of hours a week to create opportunities for banging them.
