Lots of exchange students (and au-pair girls) gather there for Karaoke.
The place is slightly less crowded these days because another huge Irish pub with live music every day and Karaoke on Mondays opened a while ago at Sendlinger Tor: Kennedys.

Also great was the Karaoke bar at the Müchner Freiheit. I don't remember the name, bit all scandinavian exchange students went there. Aweseome.
