June - November/December seems to be when it dominates. I know it was still going strong when I was here.
Definitely one of the drawbacks to Lima for me was the weather. I was craving a bit more sun and tropical vibe, and I've got that here now.
Yesterday there were clear, sunny blue skies, temps around the mid-80s with a perfect breeze off the ocean.
It's been like that multiple days this past week. Water temp is noticeably warmer with good surf as well. Doesn't get much more perfect than that in my book.
