I will say I'm surprised at the unanimous support for #1, I thought it would be the other way around, or at least a few people would go for #2. This is inclining me towards at least starting things off upstairs, and possibly not moving on from there.
Archie, this chick is not a poverty-stricken villager. She's gone to school in Singapore and runs her own mid-end boutique (funded by the Universal Bank of Daddy) with 6 employees under her. The business thing I met her at was 3 mo per-cap GDP per head to attend (I got in for writing copy), so I know she is of means and not looking for a spousal visa to anywhere.
