I think this is the main reason I don't have a blog.

I can't write about nothing, and then post my words into a vacuum.

I need an actual problem in front of me, and someone with the issue following along.

Back when this pick up thing started being discussed on the net, most of the posts were

- I met this girl
- I took this girl out
- I had this opener...
- I got this chick in bed, and she wanted to peg me...

Real practical shit. By new guys and vets.

Nowadays...it's so much THEORY w/o the practical aspects.

To me, maybe it's my science background, but the nitty gritty details, the hard work, the poor yields even though you followed everything in the text book - that's what leads to good theory. And good theory should lead to better practice as you test your assumptions, as you deal with outliers.

Lot of them outliers end up being right in the middle of the curve when you get your equations right.
