Every article I've read of this kind has focused on pedophiles who (supposedly) have never acted on their desires, and (supposedly) never, ever would. Now we have a Salon.com article which brazenly describes a pedophile who went to meet somebody's 10 year-old child — yet we're still supposed to view him as innocent and misunderstood.
