I'm actually interested in getting a tattoo. Someday.
I think in 15-20 years from now, as I enter my 40's.
Some of the pictures in this thread are cringeworthy.
What is the meaning in getting a dragon tattoo, or some cliche'd term?
I don't think anyone should be able to understand what your tattoo means. They should have to ask you for it. It should be ambiguous, where you can only reveal what it stands for to the people you would like to share it with.
I always ask people with non-concealed tattoos what it means to them. Most of the time: "Not much, I just really like it."
Unless you're part of a group that is synonymous with tattoo's as already mentioned, you must have a personal reason for it, and it must be a good one. That's the way I see it anyways.
Shoot me if I ever go down that path.
