Time gap to approach in bus

Time gap to approach in bus

So today I was in the bus, it was full, luckily I found a place to sit. The girl in question had to stay on her feet.

I was looking on my smartphone and I noticed her staring at me. I looked at her too. She looked away. This morning I promised myself to face my fears. So instead of avoiding eye contact, I looked at her for longer periods. She was the most beautiful girl I have seen last two years for sure. She returned the eyecontact.

Sometimes I would look away and she would look at me why I'm not looking at her anymore. Suddenly she walks towards me(with her friend) and I give a light smile, before I know we start full-out smiling at each other like little kids. Within couple of minutes two seats were free and they sat there. There was one person between me and them. Couple of minutes later my stop came and I stepped out. Now I'm depressed I lost her.

Now I think about it there were so many opportunities to talk to her. She freaking came from the other side of the bus to stand next to me and I didn't take advantage. Other than that, I could also have had a quick chat with her by just standing up early and standing next to her. I think I was totally freezed by her beauty. I didn't know what to say at that moment. Now I think a lot of things to say to her. How are you? How was your day? Where are you going? Blabla and at the end get her facebook, digits whatever. This is not the first time I freeze up and blow my chances because I miss the time gap to approach. Who has this too?

Girls never open me, they always expect me to open. She looked into my eyes for more than 10 minutes, we smiled and even laughed out of nothing. Probably whatever I would have said to her would be fine but I blew it.

Girls rarely open anyone, even now, they only ever open me with "can I get a light" or "do you have an extra cigarette". If there isn't something completely innocuous and indirect they'll just stand in proximity. You should have opened her. There isn't anything I can say on here that will increase your propensity towards opening the girls you want. The only thing you can do is open a lot of girls. It gets easier.

The first time I did a day time approach I was scared out of my mind. I could hardly hear her over the sound of my heart beating. Six months later I opened a really cute girl in a silent waiting room with a bunch of people watching me.

The only way to get better is to just do it. A lot.

And yes, you should have just said anything. Even if the conversation died out after thirty seconds you would have done it and probably felt great the rest of the day. And you would be more likely to open the next cute girl that you saw. Not to mention, if she was really smiling that much she probably would have helped you along quite a bit.

If you don't push for it and teach yourself to do it you'll never be ready for situations like this.

I second reino341,

I used to run train and bus game in ATL alot. Now im in HI and it's just bus. If she's sitting then you need to get as close as possible to her and engage. If she's standing then, again get closer. Do not hesitate because as you know, public transit is a very transient environment. You have to act fast because variables such as seat availability and density can quickly work against you. Take this as a lesson to be more impulsive and fast acting. Good luck next time!

Wow. She wanted you to talk to her!

You really fucked it up.

You were living in your own head instead of living in REALTY!

Next time you see her, say -- "hey, how are you?"

Tomorrow is a new day. Start again!
