Serbia Border Runs -

Does anybody happen to know how seriously Serbian border police are in enforcing the 90 in 180 days rule?
It seems like every person I meet in Belgrade from the USA gives 0 fucks, leaves every 90 days and comes back in scott-free.
After living in Ukraine, this is strange because they actually take it pretty seriously there, and I know multiple people who have been banned from entering the country after doing this for a while.
Then again I know plenty of people living here and they all say the same thing.
What have your experiences been?

As far as I am aware you can only stay 90 days in 180 days:
Quote:Quote:
U.S. citizens do not need visas to stay in Serbia for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. If you wish to stay in Serbia longer than 90 days during any 180-day period, you must apply for a temporary residence permit at the local police station with authority over the place you are staying in Serbia.
