Wheybolic Alpha GNC - Westcoast99 - 04-08-2018

GNC had this protein powder that had creatine mixed in, called Wheybolic Alpha. Any reviews? Debating to try it or to stick with traditonal creatine tablets.

Trying to bulk hard, 6 ft only 170, work outside all day burn tons of calories.

Nothing wrong with it.

But honestly you just need calories. At 170 and being very active, total calories is more important than protein.

This was actually the first protein powder/supplement I ever used, about 5-6 years ago. Pretty good tasting (the chocolate flavor) and got decent results from it.

It's just a bit pricey to use consistently.

I would not buy anything from GNC.

Go for Now Foods.

If you do labor you're gonna have to eat like no tomorrow if you wanna make gains. Outdoor labor on top of regular workouts is gonna burn a ton of calories. Best thing you can do is figure out how many calories you need to maintain your body weight with all that activity then go from there to figure out how much you need to be eating.

As for supplements I would avoid protein powder unless you don't have enough time to get whole food down during the day. Creatine probably won't do much more than add a few pounds on your lifts while you're taking it. Haven't taken any supps for a very long time. Most people eat way more protein than they actually need. Calories will make or break you and I'd stack most of your carbs in meals before and after your workout. You might want to try working out very early in the morning if you do labor that way you're not spent later in the day by the time you hit the gym. It takes a few weeks to get used to but once your body adjusts you wake up with the energy to lift heavy. I'd get at least a small meal in before hitting the gym if you go an hour or so after waking up.
