The duo reportedly met five years ago when Fletcher moved to Los Angeles to work with Turner. She says the last time she slept with him was when he allegedly forced himself on her in 2013.

I don't think this was the right way to do this. False accusations are starting to become a big thing now, especially by irrelevant feminists who used to bang famous men with big followings. Making the typical teary-eyed soft-voiced one minute video saying "I didn't do it" doesn't get you anywhere. He should have owned the situation and reversed it like a boss, highlighting everything that she said that was wrong, saying that he just called up his lawyer and that he's already doing the paperwork to sue that bitch for defamation. People would remember and respect that. Sure, some of the damage would still be there from the feminist internet robots who believe anything rape-related, but for the most part you'd take action, prove that you're not a chump and even gain a lot of credibility in the process.

I'm not into this dude as I'm not a 12-year-old. I genuinely think he and every gamer on YouTube is annoying so I have no reason to support him, but I feel for the guy. He's just yet another victim of the media and internet's pandering to the feminist and leftwing propaganda. He has a lot going for him, but now he's just another rapist. If you're a white male who's accused of rape, by default you're guilty until proven innocent. It doesn't even matter if the accusation was unreported and from years ago, you're given a permanent label.

Like I've stated on here before, proven false accusations should be punished with sex offender registration and a prison sentence equal to that of an attempted rape conviction.

The problem is that you can't penalise a woman if the guy is found not guilty in court, only if she admits she made it up.

Women are expert liars (as we all know)...so if the consequences of coming clean were harsh, they'd never do it.

It depends how far you take the false accusation.

Perjury -- false testimony before a court and nothing less -- carries a maximum term of 10 years imprisonment in most Australian jurisdictions. But fair point, women are rarely prosecuted for perjury out of false rape accusations anyway.

I remember a similar accusation about a year ago made by a groupie-type about the singer of some punk band. But I don't remember his name Who was this? What happened to him? Seemed to me at the time the whole thing was that the guy scored a groupie and she took revenge by publicly shaming him. If anyone remembers details on this or has an update, let me know.
