Video in the OP link basically says that "The Ugly Woman Is A Treasure At Home " because she is a functional wife who is more likely to accept the role of wife and take care of the kids, elderly parents etc and is less of a liability than a beautiful wife who might be more demanding about wanting resources or be more likely to be wooed away by other men. The video also stated this advice is for common men not rich guys who are able to take the liability of a beautiful wife.

I love how the woman being interviewed laughs at the fact that both men and women in China "believe" that a woman unmarried at 27 is a leftover. Laugh all you want honey, it's true there, and it's true here.
Women in China seem to be much smarter about marriage than women here in the U.S., given that 80% of Chinese women lock down a man by age 25. I don't have the data, but I'd bet that there is also a larger age difference between the spouses in China. That alone leads to a more stable marriage. About a 10-year difference seems ideal, so that SMV values track more equitably over time.
Also, who is the target market for this "Business Insider"? The combination of relentless uptalk and idiotic graphics putting up a key phrase every few seconds in the left half of the screen makes this seem like something targeted to 5-year-olds. Ugh.

Basically it means get one that is not too pretty, low maintenance enough, not cause loss of face, and won't be too loud or cause trouble.
Then they go out and get an er nai or xiaosan that is hot or wild.
Used to confuse me for a while until I realized they just supplement it with side pussy.

You read it wrong. Girls that cheat easy for any dude that comes up to them is probably not a good girl. Good girls in a relationship might only jump ship if the dude is the equivalent of a unicorn 10 hottie jumped in your lap.
