Where to for a long weekend? - scubadude - 04-15-2014

I'm just being indecisive at this point. I've got a four day weekend coming up and need to get the fuck outta Oklahoma. I have plenty of airline miles to do just about anything. Sick of this winter so Colorado and anywhere north is out.

Obviously Europe and Asia aren't worth it for the actual time on the ground.

The short list is:

Daytona Beach (never been but it's a non-stop easy flight)
Tampa/ St Pete (Been plenty, maybe again)
MIA/FLL (maybe but was just there a few months ago).
Santo Domingo (never been)
Costa Rica (been but prefer to go somewhere new)
Columbia?
Vegas (that would be good but it is CES weekend and no thanks)

Throw me some suggestions because I am just not enthusiastic about any of them so far.

Are you talking about international consumer electronics show? That was already held in January. So Vegas shouldn't be overrun by rich nerds. It's pool party season in Vegas right now and it's poppin. Definitely go. After referring to the data sheets on the forum of course

If it's possible, as long as it's not the coming weeked (easer), go to Charleston, SC. Just don't expect hotels to be cheap.

Cabo or Hawaii (Oahu if you want to game). Both very doable, great weather and new experiences.

Daytona and Tampa suck.

I have always had a blast in Tampa with girls being really easy to chat up. Always alot of energy there on the weekends.
