Well as usual with these results they say "cities" when they mean capital cities

Surprised they put Kiev at number 2

Yeah, I'm also surprised about St.Petersburg and Moscow.
Nr 12 and nr 15. How can thesecities be rated cheaper than example Tallin and Berlin?

The OP's link seems to rank cities based on what a "Backpacker" would pay for only a limited range of good and services. If you rank based on what a long-term visitor or an expat would pay, I am sure the list would change dramatically. (i.e. Moscow being much more expensive)

This is a more accurate and up-to-date database of cost of living = http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/comparison.jsp

You can compare cost of living between 2 cities all over the world and the datasets are collected continuously through local contributors for a comprehensive range of living expenses. You can also toggle between currencies. It's even better than Expatistan for sure.
