According to the Washington Post, Liu Tienan, a party official in Beijing gave his mistress $1,000 USD the first time they met....every day. Not Only this, but check this out:

There's nothing wrong with having money. However, I would never take a girl shopping on my own dime, much less pay them.

Just imagine how many trips you can afford with that much cash.
