Has anyone ever heard of this company or bought anything from them?

http://20jeans.com/

The jeans look cool online for the price, but I'm naturally skeptical. They also have $10 vnecks too that seem to have a good cut to them.

Old navy has jeans for $15 when on sale.

Zara and Bershka sold jeans for 9.99 pounds during the sale season.

But thrift stores are always hit or miss. It's hard to walk into a thriftstore and find just the cut and wash you want at just your appropriate size.

^ Same thing goes for online. You have to try on jeans before you buy them. Every pair is different even same size and style, brand.

costco lucky brand jeans $25. can't go wrong. and i'm a former jean snob who has spent $250 on a pair of jeans before.

Those jeans actually looks good.

What bothers me is this consumer mentality. I rather spend 40$ and the people working at the fabric in asia could get a decent living to.

btw; Not that i think what i pay really affects how much to bottom workers are payed.

Go to Uniqlo. Jeans range from $20-$60 and are excellent quality. Bought a pair of white ones last year and they fit like, or better than my Sevens.

They also have great fitting and looking $5 v-necks.

You can also find tons of good stuff if you know what you're looking for (or if you find a store with consistently good product).

I've gotten a 90 dollar brooks brothers dress shirt that had nothing wrong with it for $5. I've bought 100+ quality books for 2-5 a piece.

Plus Macklemore has made every young girl want to go thrifting. I often see cuties in the stores (usually early during the weekend or in the middle of the day on the weekdays).

My suggestion is invest in one good pair of jeans that will last and age well.

I'm not even talking Diesel. Just go with Levi's. $40 pair and you are set.

This why you shouldn't sell something under reasonable price. People will automatically think there is something wrong with it.
If you price higher, they automatically think it's better too.

Anyways, it costs $25 bucks to make true religion jeans in U.S.A
that should give you enough info?

Looking at the site, it appears their clothes are manufactured in the garment district in downtown L.A., just like American Apparel. Probably using illegal Mexicans to make them. Which I suppose is better than Banglasdeshis.

^ $20 jeans if made to a high standard is an unethical product because there's no way you can pay workers anything more than subsistence wages.

Here is their explanation:

Keep in mind not all their products are $20. Just the jeans. Some of their other things go up to $60.

I'm pretty sure that all the jeans I've ever gotten from Nordstrums Rack were in the 20 to 30 dollar range.

$20 jeans - jariel - 06-10-2013

I actually came across 20jeans today while reading another site. I was curious to see if anyone else had a review of the products or some insight on the company, but unfortunately the thread is full of posts about other places Speak could shop at, which seems rather unhelpful.

Some of those look very good for the price, thanks for the link. I had never heard of this brand before.

The Levi's Denizen brand jeans at Target are a good value. They come in different fits and colors and are usually around $25 and can be had for $20 on sale. I've gotten compliments on them from many women.

Just find a Levis outlet store near you. There's 2 (that I know of) within 45 minutes of me and I spent about $200 + tax for 8 pairs last year.
