Anybody check out Goliath yet? It's on Amazon Prime starring Billy Bob Thornton. So far I'm two episodes in and I'm liking it.

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-13-2016

I am willing to give Mad Men benefit of a doubt and if its bad just stop to watch.

The TV Series Thread - Malone - 11-13-2016

If you've got Millenial-level attention span, then Mad Men is going to be hard for you to watch.

That said, I loved it. Don Draper's behaviour with women and men (not Jon Hamm's) should be a role model to game aware men. The acting is fantastic.

Megan Draper (Jessica Pare) is a fantastic piece of ass.

Watch it, if you've got the attention span for it.

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-13-2016

If you by millenial attention span mean am I one of the TL; DR generation, then I can watch this series. I watched lot of series with over hundred episodes and none have bothered me.
Don Draper behavior is one the reasons I want to watch.

Also I downloaded Homeland.

The TV Series Thread - Meat Head - 11-13-2016

I saw one episode of Red Oaks. Meh. Is it any good?

The TV Series Thread - Mufasa - 11-13-2016

Ash vs the Evil Dead. Total shitlord killing demon spirits

The Flash. Best superhero series by far. A lot of one-its though

Quarry. Vietnam war vet comes home and becomes a hitman

Atlanta. By Donald Glover--a satire of modern fads, cultural trends; shit like that

Westworld Still figuring it out but so far: The beginning of skynet going online in the Terminator if it took place in a wild west resort park

Mr Robot Anti-social skitzoid hacker nerd attempts to take down the largest business conglomerate in the world in the name of eliminating coorperate control over people

Ray Donovan story of an alpha male hollywood clean up man that is almost always finds himself in over his head but gets the job done by doing illegal shit

Dragon Ball Super (Anime) Goku and Vegeta get more bad ass and continue to kick ass across the galaxy.

Really liked FOB, it's fucking hilarious!

On which season of POI are you? Not only they predicted, depictions of programs in series is completely accurate. Unfortunately some people think its just conspiracy theory, but this stuff exists from 2001.

Shit man, as I got deeper in the series I was shocked how even more accurate they were. Every single thing they brought out, it was before a scandal or the someone exposed it in real life. Those dudes were way before their times. My favorite character was Finch and Fusco. Root and her snarkiness was annoying as fuck, but eventually I grew to like her.

I finished the series last month, liked it so much that I was watching it again to catch on but 5 episodes in I said fuck it. I read like Wikia for a day trying to connect all the dots.

Now that I think about it, it was fucking dumb binge watching Weeds, Narcos, Dexter, POI, and SOA; most of it back to back. So much time I'll never get back.

^Mad men was painful to watch. Didnt make it past one Homeland episode. Please watch Spartacus, Breaking Bad, Narcos and Boardwalk Empire if you havent.

Mad Men was just way too slow, and the time period it was set in is unrelated to me. I was born in the 90s, da fuq do I want to watch a show based in the 60s? Might as well watch MASH.

Fargo is my favorite TV series, especially first season because of focus on the beta character who becomes red pilled alpha at the end.

Mind giving a quick rundown on the show?

The TV Series Thread - Cattle Rustler - 11-13-2016

I watched the entire season 2 of Mr Robot and couldn't get the fucking point or most of the plot of it.

Some schitzo dude who is actually locked up. Something about murdering and going after the elites. Something about the gubbmint and a repository. . In the end, everything is an illusion.

**Mr Robot Season2 Spoilers Ahead**
The first half of the season is Elliott coping with his reality of being locked up from the hack in season 1. At this point Elliott has no idea of phase2. He comes to realize that there is a lapse in his time log when he sleeps where Mr Robot has been moving forward with the plan to finish off e-corp via communicating with Tyrell Wellick on the outside.

Darlene (Elliot's sister) is trying to move forward with the plan but lacks the vision and leadership to do so while the Dark Army is tying up lose ends.

The FBI chick is closing in on F Society but the head of the bureau wants a prosecution asap. The Dark army also uses Angelina (Elliot's love interest) to disrupt the FBI's investigation into the Dark Army and F Society pretty much railroading the investigation.

Elliot gets released and uses lucid dreaming to spy on Mr Robot to see what he's up to. Elliot eventually meets up with Wellick . Elliott believes that Wellick is another figment of his imagination like Mr Robot is and demands Wellick to stop the plan. Mr Robot had warned Wellick this might happen (at the end of season 1 when Elliot/Mr Robot goes to grab the gun out of the popcorn) and tells Wellick to shoot Elliott if he tries to interfere with "phase 2". Elliot calls the bluff and gets shot because Wellick is real and not dead.

Season ends.

**End Spoiler**

The TV Series Thread - Cattle Rustler - 11-14-2016

Ah, that makes more sense. I thought F society and Dark Army where the same.

The show was literally too dark and did not have enough lighting for me to tell shit apart.

Thanks brah!

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-14-2016

Supposedly it is very accurate representation of "hacking".

The TV Series Thread - Malone - 11-14-2016

It is extremely accurate.

Also a very good show. Minor correction, Mufasa:

He wasn't jailed for the hack, it was for something else. I think for stealing that guys dog and hacking him.

Also, some fantastic hotness on this show.

Sorted in WB priority order.

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-14-2016

Carly looks better IRL then in the series. Yes, he was jailed because he stole dog from his psychiatrist's boyfriend.

The TV Series Thread - Malone - 11-14-2016

She looks bad in pictures, but she's got that slutty vibe nailed and those glorious DSLs.

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-14-2016

But the Tyrell's wife though...

Btw, when Elliot in the 9th episode finds him, is he still in lucid dream or he used knowledge from lucid dream to track Tyrell? Nevertheless I think this TV series is gonna enter history with its mindfucks. There will be more seasons and just imagine what they have prepared. You seriously need to question every scene if its real at all.

The TV Series Thread - Mufasa - 11-14-2016

Okay that makes more sense.
Elliot uses the lucid dream to follow Mr Robot and then assumes control when they get to the taxi cab.

But year archer shit is about to get real. I rewatched some episodes and totally forgot that White Rose is playing both sides of all of this. Going to be real interesting.

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-14-2016

It will be interesting to see what is deal with White Rose. Is he doing all of this just to topple E Corp power and establish China as main superpower or something else. We can only speculate.

Cattle Ruster, I saw just now that you asked me about Fargo 1st season.
Basically Lester Nygaard (Martin Freeman) is scared beta in dead marriage and he comes across one guy who used to bully him in the school. He brakes nose in process and goes to hospital. There he meets mysterious guy (Billy Bob Thornton) who says to him that he would kill this bully if Lester just says yes.
Lester doesn't say anything and dismisses proposal as a joke, but the bully is killed. From there to end of season follow very interesting plot and transformation of the Lester.

Has also 2nd season.

The TV Series Thread - Enoch - 11-14-2016

Last night's episode of Westworld was incredible.

SEMI-SPOILER

I thought some of the staff would end up being "hosts", didn't expect that reveal though. Anthony Hopkins is absolutely perfect in this role.

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-15-2016

Those plot twist bombs never cease to amaze me.

I love the Flash series as well. DC is doing well with their TV series now. Arrow is now getting more interesting than the last two seasons which were boring. DC's legends of tomorrow is also good. Super girl is by far the worst though. I tried to watch one episode but the acting was so cringe worthy.

If you like Ray Donovan I think you will also like 'Banshee'. A convicted criminal goes out of jail and somehow takes the identity of a sheriff and from then on there is a storm of troubles following him and the little town that he lives in.

I like DBS but the episodes are too short and they kind of ruin a lot of good moments. Last episode (66) they showed the most alpha character they could possibly feature for only 5 minutes compared to the 1 hour show time in the buu saga

The TV Series Thread - Pride male - 11-15-2016

I saw the first episode of Sherlock Holmes. It was good. The English seem way more artistic than their American cousins.

The TV Series Thread - sterling_archer - 11-15-2016

Except you will have to wait until 2017 for the 4th season. 3rd season was in 2014, so I am two years for the new season.

The TV Series Thread - Meat Head - 11-15-2016

South Park doesnt do it for me. I was sitting there watching it stone faced.

Then there is Reign. Ugh. It is like Tudors meets Gossip Girl. Then there is Salem, which was aiight.

I have been meaning to watch Crossbones. I hope its not a poor mans Black Sails.

The TV Series Thread - WalterBlack - 11-16-2016

Not a TV series but a one off special - watch David Blaine - Beyond Magic

The TV Series Thread - Cattle Rustler - 11-19-2016

I have a love hate relationship with House of Cards.

Frank is a Democrat, but the nigga is a warhawk who does not support welfare and is from ATL, how in the fuck does that make sense? Dude is a straight up neocon.

Claire is almost as retarded as Skyler White and her persona is so untrue. The first lady post is merely ceremonial. How in the fuck can she go to running a country, telling the Secretary of State what to do, being UN ambassador, and conducting biz with the Russian president. Stupid show creators had to make the typical "ball busting high powered woman" persona. As if we don't have enough examples of that (Dunbar, Sharp, Barnes, etc)

That Zoe Barnes bitch tried to AMOG Frank and wanted to be in control, surprise bitch...good thing you got thrown into the train tracks.

The rest of the show is good tho.
