I started today reading Your Brain on Porn by Gary Wilson and passed first quarter of book. Definitively recommend it to all. I am not going to explain why, you will need to see for yourself. Book presents half scientific evidence, half human experience regarding this thread and as such excels. Actually I might say I feel revulsion with porn by now, and I have yet to read rest of the book! Very similar to what I felt while reading Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Carr.

Unfortunately I have not seen the book greekgod mentioned for free download.

Day 1 again [Image: confused.gif] I had a horrible day at work yesterday due to the snowstorm and was extremely stressed out. To make matters worse, I made the mistake of checking reddit. I had purged it of anything nsfw but had forgotten to take PM's into consideration. I had a pm from the reddit sloot from my previous post who had sent me some more pictures plus a pm from another girl. While those originally didn't set me off they did plant a seed in my brain as I started browsing a nsfw subreddit before I realized what I was doing. I set my phone down and took the advice a member had given me previously and soaked my head and hands with ice cold water (this would be the second time doing so since my second relapse) for a while until I couldn't take it anymore. That took the edge off for a while. As I was working out later the images and pms of what I had seen earlier crept back into my head and I ended up with an erection. I guess the combination of upped testosterone, working out, and those thoughts just made me unable to take it anymore.

I am getting better at controlling these impulses though and can feel that I have a tiny bit of energy regained from this last cycle. Biggest mistake people tend to make in this situation is to test themselves by looking at porn to see if they will get a boner.
