Did ýou tell him to "go home"?

Not sure what you mean. No, we ended up not fighting and we didn't lose any money either.
Probably the best possible outcome.

The main agressor there got kicked out by security and banned from the establishment.

Sometimes you really want to escalate into a physical fight, but staying cool is the smart move.
I haven't seen any real violence here and I hope to keep it that way.

Was it at a club? Weird that some guys would try to extort you at a club. Meaning they just saw you and thought hey let's go demand money? Not questioning whether it happened just curious where it happened. Thanks for the info you share.

Not at a club, happened during the daytime in fact.
It wasn't about the money as much as the guy wanting to boss someone around that day.

I don't think this situation is common enough to waste time analyzing. Once in a while you just meet some nutjob who gets agressive for no logical reason. Like I said, everyone there was telling me he was a psycho(Psih in Russian).

This isn't some mafia type tough guy. No, its more like the guy at your gym who screams at people for not re-racking the weights and threatens them for minor things. No one respects such people which is why the security were more than happy to dispose of him.

The Ukraine Thread III - Blake2 - 01-31-2016

Daygame is good here.
Kiev isn't a small, secluded city....its big and loud.
So you have to be that way too.

Hey there...!
chat chat chat
push for the number

next.
More volume, more approaches.

I was thinking back to this local dude and the main things are
1) strong eye contact
2) push. just keep talking about any old shit
3) go for the number

There's no secret to this. Its like going to the gym. Any trainer will tell you- Eat protein, do squats/bench/deadlift, progressively increase weight/reps, slow controlled reps with good form, etc. Its pretty obvious stuff, but actualy doing all of it takes discipline and lots of practice.

The Ukraine Thread III - AWright - 01-31-2016

What percent of your numbers do you get dates with? In Medellin numbers meant very little, is it the same way in Ukraine?

The Ukraine Thread III - Blake2 - 01-31-2016

Yes, low. Thats pretty normal in most places. Its easy to get a number or facebook but few lead to dates.
You can improve this somewhat by having longer conversations. Its neccessary to meet as many new people as possible through daygame, social circle, and online.

Its just a matter of trial and error, finding out which venues give the best reception. Then, repeat.
You can get lazy after a while but as your approach volume diminishes..so will results.

Day game is not that good anymore in Colombia. Colombianas know the market in foreigners, only too well.
3rd tier in Ukraine or Russia, with good Russian...one has to see.
Practicing my Russian everyday, but it that does not work, there is Thailand and the Phils nearby.

The Ukraine Thread III - Blake2 - 01-31-2016

I was trying to decide between online, social circle, and daygame and I focused on one for different times in the past.
I see now that doing a little bit of each is the best way.

You do online each day...and you get burned out from mind numbing conversations, multiple messages, and silly girls stringing you along.
You do day game each day...and you get burned out from rejection after rejection, long trips to and from venues, searching for people to approach, etc.
You do social cirlcle game each day...and you get tired of seeing the same people over and over again, tired of there only being 1 or 2 new girls in the group each month.

So, a little bit each week and it keeps things fresh and fun.

The Ukraine Thread III - TripleG - 01-31-2016

@Blake2, Where is "night game" in all of this? To me night game leads to the strongest number closes and memorable conversations. Also, if you can dance well with a girl and kiss close then there is a good chance you will stick in her head and chance of a 1st date meeting will be high.

Neither online nor day game gives you that. Social circle can, but it is very hit or miss.

The Ukraine Thread III - 262 - 02-01-2016

^^^
It may be his preference not to do night game. It certainly is mine - but that's only after having tried it.

The Ukraine Thread III - Blake2 - 02-01-2016

Yes, I've done night game many times and its not my main avenue.
I do hit up bars a couple times a month for "twilight game" which is like slightly higher energy daygame.

I was wondering, when you guys do approaches do you do it at random or do you look for signs of interest first?
I know guys who look obviously foreign will make eye contact with girl or look for girls that are paying attention to them.

But what if you look like a typical guy here? Just plough through random approaches, eh? Haha, no easy way out.

I just go behind her and say: Slava Bogu...chto klasnyy devushka!
With my sexy voice and perfect russian accent...I just have to make sure she feels my breath on her neck...Now there is only two outcomes, or she turns around with a big smile on her face, or she smacks me immediately...
Give it a try Blake.

Blake, I am beeing serious here. Specially the part of my sexy voice and perfect russian accent, so lf course I will not approach like this in the metro where this is less of an advantage due to the loud noise of the train and people rushing. Seriously, you can try something bold, that differentiates you from the other guys. I see Ukranian guys following girls in the street at high pace while making conversation, other guys lift the chair where she is seated, I saw this in a crazy karaoke place. No one of the security guys said anything, they even laugh...and after a while the girl was seated with the guy...Be bold, be Ukranian.

Good thing about Ukraine is also the lack of political correctness, I am sure no one gives a damn about those posters.

Worked good in other EE countries, and everywhere else I've been. Was good in setting up dates from online as well. Most girls here are aware of sex-tourists. The "I'll be here for a while" vibe disarms them a bit.

The Ukraine Thread III - Malone - 02-05-2016

I am flying into Kharkiv tomorrow for a week. Mostly to visit a friend of mine that lives there.

Never been to Ukraine before, and I'm sure I'm going to freeze my ass off. But I'm excited to see the fount of hot blonde femininity.

I originally booked an AirBNB with that "instant book" feature. The host came back with "force majeur" - would you like one of these other apartments? So, scam. Put all of your apartments on that instant book whether they are available or not, redirect the traffic. There was some complaints about that in her AirBNB reviews. I ended up cancelling and getting a suite at a high end center of the city hotel for roughly the same price.

Ukraine's cheap!

The Ukraine Thread III - edlefou - 02-07-2016

I went to Dragobrat for skiing. It's all families and mixed groups of friends, so you shouldn't go there for gaming lizards, but the skiing is decent and I plan to go back.

Elevation is 1,400 to 1,800 meters. Mostly red and blue level of difficulty on the main pistes, but you can go off-piste to find fresher snow and more interesting runs.

The weather was great for 2 days: sunny and clear. The weather was shit for 2 days: windy and snowy with terrible visibility and the lifts to the higher runs were closed.

There are a couple of chair lifts, but most of them are tow lifts. There are different owners for different groups of lifts, so you need to buy separate lift tickets (kind of annoying, but not that big a deal). Wait times are 0-15 minutes, depending on the time of day and weather.

Dragobrat is all family-owned hotels, so it's a village vibe. I didn't have a reservation, so I walked around and asked about places to stay. All the places I went to had wifi with decent bandwidth.

Average prices are 400-450 grivna per night, including breakfast and dinner. I found a place that was 250 grivna a night, but the bathroom was in the hallway. The accommodations are pretty basic, so you should go to Bukovel if you want something fancy.

I didn't try speaking English, but I'm fairly certain you can't get by without basic Russian or Ukrainian. I met 3 people who spoke some English during the week I was there. I didn't meet any foreigners.

I got bored on the bad weather days because there's not much to do except sit in the lounges surfing the internet and eating/drinking. 80-100 grivna will get you a solid homestyle meal with soup, salad, and main course. Beers are 15-25 for local brews.

Here's a rough breakdown of my spending (prices in grivna):

170 Kyiv to Ivano-Frankivsk train
60 Ivano-Frankivsk to Yasinia bus
80 Yasinia to Dragobrat transport
250 per night hotel (shared bathroom, but including breakfast and dinner)
150 per day extra food and drinks (average)
150 for a lift pass (8 trips to the highest peak)
100 per day skis, poles, boots (I think I overpaid compared to the locals)

So I flew into Kiev, and my 2.5h layover turned into a 9h layover due to FSU efficiency.

So, "Fuck it" says I, and I rent a car.

I get a satnav and a 2013 Hyundai Accent and I set off to Kharkiv in the pitch black.

One hour into the trip, the satnav quits (charger doesn't work as the cigarette lighter ports are dead.) Phone doesn't charge from the USB port, because putting power through the USB port in a car would be madness. It dies before I make Kharkiv.

Luckily for me, all of the windows are heavily tinted.

Anyway, 6ish hours later I make it to Kharkiv. I know the name of my hotel, but have no address, no map and no working GPS enabled electronics.

So, after driving in to the fancy area, I finally give up and ask a cop in a patrol car if he knows English.

He doesn't, and 2 other patrol cars pull up and surround my rental. One of them finally knows English, and sort of knows where the hotel is. I get a police escort to the hotel, cherries on. I get there, shake the cops hand and get to my hotel.

Anyway, that was last night. Today, the talent level was high. 3 approaches, one spoke English and got the digits. 20 year old tiny blonde university student. Went out to the bar with a Ukrainedate chick tonight, date was a bust but the bar was packed with approachable talent.

I can see why you guys like the Ukraine.

The Ukraine Thread III - Vinny - 02-09-2016

edlefou Great photo!
I've been planning to go to Bukovel this January but my flights were all cancelled due to crazy snowfall in Odessa. Was stuck there for 3 extra days. I've booked a trip via travel agency. 700 grivnas for 3 days in Bukovel. Including transportation from Lviv, food, and accommodation. As I've understood you have to pay for lift rent on top of that should not be much.
700 grivnas now is around 25 euro. Which is enormously cheap.

The Ukraine Thread III - Beirut - 02-11-2016

Been in kiev since two days. Spent most of my time with girl I met online so no gaming to report . Walked around in the day time, so far my impressions are:

It's not a beautiful city or old town and center in the vein of other central or eastern European cities. I imagine krechatyk could be a very nice street in the summer but with this grey weather it all has a sort of grey sad vibe.

Scoped out the malls, keep in mind this is during weekdays afternoons.

Gulliver is sort of small floors over ten floors, it had good traffic when I went compared to others and some cuties.

Mandarin plaza was also small floors over maybe 5 floors, but was deserted. Looks higher end a bit.

Went to arena in the day, looked like shit and was empty.

Ocean plaza is the best looking one and spaced out in large floors, I liked that more. I'm there as I write this. Loads of traffic, lots of 6-7 but nothing above that yet.

Nights I was with a girl and checked out some cafes mostly, went to touch cafe, sexy girls there but not a very good place for gaming

Went to some cafe yesterday with Arabic/Turkish food, againot quality was high with girls all dressed up.

Overall I would say I'm slightly disappointed with the quality but that's because I had overblown expectations.

The nice thing is that there seems to be loads of 7s in this city, most girls I would gladly bang but wouldn't be that excited about dating.

If I had to guess now I would say nightlife is where it's at.

The Ukraine Thread III - Vinny - 02-12-2016

Beirut. Try online game on Tinder and Badoo. I had good results with it in Kiev and Odessa. Very good solution for wintertime.

I think you got me wrong there CR. I would date 8s and 9s of kiev very happily, what I ment was that day game here seems to have many 7s but few above that . By 7 I ment ones that I wouldn't be that thrilled about dating .

I've seen most stunners in the nightlife
