Book recommendation: Models - Sleek - 08-17-2013

I just finished Models and I can't remember reading a book that inspired me so much.

Forget politics. Mark Manson created a book that can help men in a lot of ways in Models. As you'll often find when you read books on attracting women, some of the material was for a complete beginner.

I know that I should have been taking notes while reading the book, but all I have to show for it are some of my highlighted clippings:

Read a sentence aloud, then do it again while holding your nose.

It works, holy smokes, that's seriously amazing advice

[*]"A man who does not act on his sexual urges is a man who is unconfident and therefore unattractive."

The problem with this is that in Western society, men who make their sexual urges known are demonized as creeps, douches and contributors to "rape culture."

Men in the West really have to walk a very fine line between just enough directness to show sexual confidence but not so much directness that her douchebag alarm goes off. Whereas in places like Brazil or Italy, men can be fully sexual and are just expected to be that way without it being seen as offensive. I've heard that in Italy, it's no big deal for a man to squeeze a woman's ass on a bus, for example. Whereas in the US, you'd be arrested on the spot for sexual assault. And I'm not saying men should go around grabbing women's bodies in the street, but it just goes to show how much culture can make a difference here in how overtly men display their sexual desire to women.

I can vouch for this entirely. I just got back this week from a month in Brazil.

You can eye-fuck girls, stare them down, and NEVER get a negative reaction, either at the bar or on the street during the day. Oddly enough, many times they do the same..

Back in Canada, and it's not nearly the same. Except I'm going to continue experimenting with the intensity of the eye contact I adapted to in Brazil here and see where that leads. So far nothing negative, although not as positive.

I think as long as you know you're a valuable guy (take care of yourself, have game, abundance etc) and are able to project it, you can do well anywhere with sexual intent, even NA. Although it might take some calibrating, because it's exactly as you said, you're not able to get away with as much here.

Guys that are labelled as creeps, aka most of the guys roaming at the clubs, are just full of sexual intent but don't know how to calibrate it during the approach. For instance, approaching a girl from behind on the dance floor and grabbing her hips.
