Can anybody list names of places to avoid in Moscow and Sankt Petersburg in order to not get scammed (ex: girls taking you to some xxxx bar....). Normally I would avoid following girls but you never know what can happen.
Also, any good date places/places to go out or to take a girl for a drink??

Being a business leader does not preclude being a traditional woman. The same article states that the "Baltic states show similar stats." I have not been to Russia, but I have been to the Baltics. The women in the Baltics are quite traditional, especially when compared to the West.
Alcoholism among Russian men is among the highest in the world. Perhaps this creates a void, and an opportunity, that the women fill.
I live in Russia, I can say that in principle both ways are "relatively" true. In big cities like St. Pet and Moscow you will find many hardcore westernizied modern women who work in top positions, nothing wrong with that.
As soon as you drive to a 3tier city, smaller cities etc. you will find many hutariankas, these are very traditional girls, very feminine. If you are looking for wife material, go there. For the long term I think they can be a bit boring thou, just my humble opinion.

And be aware about the 3rd category of girls in such establishments... yes that kind, the WGs. Also a minority, just like the scammers. But at least the guy gets something tangible for the cash he is loosing. They aren't my kind, but I respect them (unlike the scammers, who I detest), after all it's the oldest profession in mankind.

Gonna post here about my last night in Tomsk. As Slubu described, the level of deceipt russian girls are capable is probably highest in the world. I saw it in action in the club yesterday. Thing is, it is basically the extreme spectrum of feminity. It makes sense. If you read Sperm Wars you understand that they are simply encouraging male competition. Probably is heavily represented in their genetic due to CCCP violent history.
They also strongly react to physical domination. Guys would just grab and throw girls around, whom at first will act offended but then slowly warm up by basically not running away and staying there.
And then another guy would do exactly the same and history repeats. To win and basically get laid, you need to have the strongest frame, and most patience. Girls dont really react to game per-se but you should never be needy at all. The best way to describe it, is to act like the girl is already yours and that she is just doing silly things and trying to make you jealous.
At the end of the night, brunette 2 was tired and finally wanted to go home. Me and brunette 1 escorted her to the garderobe and at the same time I made the move of ordering my own taxi to get B1 home. But B2 actually decided to come with us, and convinced b1 to "pa probe"...
Unfortunately back home B2 passed out on the couch. B1 was down to go but obviously gave the classic slavic resistance, which is saying no until you grab her

I would have to agree with the observations about your "presence", and how it appeals to the women in this place. Non-verbal cues. Composure. Posture. Strong male gestures. Eye contact. Aloofness. Sturdy frame. I think being highly conscious of this contributed more to any female intrigue won than anything I actually said. While this definitely feels more natural and I mostly like it, I did sometimes miss how I could use the power of prose in the West. While this in no way implies that to be some kind of intrinsic weakness to the culture in the East, it's just a bit too different and unique for some of us Westerners to adapt to and similarly excel at.

(i.e. too excited to get to know you, English is too good, making up lies about why the bar you want to go to is dangerous, and you should only go to the bar she recommends. Another common theme is that on tinder dates she would be waiting with a friend, and wouldn't tell you before hand. I just wrote up something on the Nha Trang thread about fishing for Russians there. Only issue with Nha Trang is you get lower class Russian girls, who can still be hot but don't generally speak English.

However, I do think getting a rolodex of all the travel destinations, and dates, when Russians pile into certain locations would be super useful. To some extent, you'll always bump into some while travelling, but anywhere they go in big numbers, it will likely be better to game them there than in Russia, since they are in holiday mode and are often looking to bang. There are exceptions to this, and of course, you need the Russian girls on vacation, not the Russian girls who have already moved to places like Barcelona or Milan -- those girls will not be easy for a tourist to pull.

Well hello Russia thread. Been lurking here a while, both on this thread and the forum in general, and I guess it's about time for me to start writing. After reading so many good field reports and tips, you have to contribute at some point.
I'm going to Piter next week on a small recon mission for a few days, visiting flats and having a job interview before I move there in August. I'll be there a year as an exchange student, I have an okay scholarship lined up so anything I earn while there will be extra.
Hopefully that year will live up to my expectations, which admittedly are pretty low right now. I've been getting boxed up in my current life for way too long with far too intensive studies and work and a bogged down LTR, so at this point even a year of drinking vodka with crazy Russian guys listening to bloody accordion and no pussy sounds better than my current life.
I'm in my late 20s, a bit under 6ft, okay looks but maybe too little muscle for these sweet dyevs. At some point during that LTR my gym membership just lapsed, if you see what I mean. Strong date game, decent day game but terrible night game.
A couple of words on cultural affinity: I lived in Kiev some 8-9 years ago with my dyev at the time. Had a fantastic time, hanging with her friends all the time and started learning som basic Russian. We stayed there maybe 6 months, and went pretty much everywhere in Ukraine, which by the way is a beautiful country.
It literally killed me being there with a girl, when I saw the talent walking around and not being able to make any approach. I suppose that has disappeared now, from what is being said on the thread, but there was some serious WGF back when I was there, even in Kyiv. In second-tier cities I literally had girls coming up to us and trying to steal me from my dyev (with some pretty heavy Russian shouting matches ensuing), and my looks are maybe just above average for most of Western Europe. Anyways even though I have mostly been in Northern Europe since that time, I have kept the FSU-affinity and genuinely love the classic russian stuff, maybe it's a bit gay but I like reading Gogol okay?

I knew I had to go back one day and live there alone, and I have been planning to take this exchange since I started my current studies, so it's been a long time coming. I have tried to derust my Russian, which by now is probably at a strong A2-level.
The exchange will be at St Pete's top private university (didn't get a choice), so I expect there'll be top quality talent that's far above my paygrade, but who knows, maybe those rich chicks don't care about money so much. In any case it'll be good to have a social circle. The uni is also giving me free language classes for six months, so between that, everyday survival, normal social interactions and gaming, I think my Russian will improve quite quickly (I've got a few languages under my belt, admittedly all western languages, but I know the drill).
So about the trip next week: I'll be staying in a pretty nice flat in Petrogradska (apparently a cool and young area, but maybe wrong side of the river? unless I can get the girls on my side of the river during the evening, and they live on the south side, I don't see how it'll work pulling the "bridges are up, you gotta wait until the morning so just come and hang out at my place" trick. )
As I mentioned I'm mostly going there to line up a pad for august and I have an interview, which if it works out would bring excellent CV-material, loads of social creds (well-reputed Russian law firm) and probably very little money.
Apart from that I'm planning to look around the city and get a feel of the place, and see if I can get a bang out of a 4-day trip (remember I have very poor night game and my wallet isn't extensible so big packed clubs with horny first-tier city gals waiting to thump on a sponsor type aren't really an option.)
I've been pipelining quite heavily the past couple of weeks on tinder passport, to the point where I have 15+ dyevs messaging on VK, saying they will meet me while I'm here, and have lined up dates for the first two evenings (early evening though, if they don't work out there'll be plenty of time to go out). I figure there isn't much point pipelining any more chicks, I won't be able to meet them all anyways. I've been chatting with them in Russian but was careful to mention that my spoken russian was a lot worse than when writing, and only 2-3 of the ~15 in my VK-mailbox reacted saying they really didn't speak any English, the other ones were cool with it. Even those are still on for dates, I think they're overestimating my language skills so i'll try the other ones first.
It'd be very fun if anyone from the forums is in Piter at the moment and would like to meet up. I only know one guy there, and we're going to go out for a beer, but he is definitely *not* someone I would go anywhere near a girl with. Otherwise I'll be solo, hence the tinder-pipelining, and I'll have time to day game, so we'll see how that works. Plus I have the perfect excuse to just happen to be hanging around my future faculty and ask people for directions, advice or whatnot.
So, that was the pre-trip briefing, I'll definitely try to write up some reports while I'm there. And guys, it feels good to stop lurking and finally meet my brothers.

Avoid any clubs in easter suburbs like Perovo and Novogireevo. My buddy had his wallet stolen there from the coat rack where he checked them in. He was super wasted though so don't get stupid drunk.

So, I arrived yesterday in St Pete. The weather is just splendid, which makes the whole thing much better.
First impressions: very nice city, airy with loads of parks, great for architecture. The distances are huge though, much bigger than what it looks like on a map. And the city is really bad for pedestrians, streets are very wide and full of cars everywhere, so that' not optimal. Been taking a couple of ubers which are really cheap, but traffic is a nightmare. On the whole I'm rather positively surprised though, people are much nicer than in my previous experience in FSU (though it may have something to do with the weather) and everyone is really patient with my bad Russian.
The talent is somewhat underwhelming. Well it's still miiiiiiles better than any western European city, and going down on Nevsky earlier today I felt like I was turning my head around for 8's and 9's the whole time. But Yeah the average is below what I was expecting :/
Yesterday evening was a +1, surprisingly enough. It deserves a more detailed report than I can manage right now though, so I'll post in a while as soon as find the time.
