I'd prefer to rock a 3-7 day shadow, and the girls do too, but corporate america dictates I shave daily. Friday is a special treat as I can not shave and get away with it.

My facial hair is noticeably RED after a certain point, unlike my actual hair with is a weird blondish brownish with a hint of red so..I have to start using the beard trimmer if I go longer than a week or so to prevent the redness from showing up. (I'm of English lineage, not Irish, as far as I know).

I've found that...it doesn't matter. For a while my lays were coming on 2 days unshaven. Recently it has been skyrocketing clean shaven. So who knows.

I've had a clean beard for about six years now. I'm thinking about really growing it out this winter though to give it some substantiality. It's another way to not apologize for being a man.
