Prosal - maybe you should check the duty free shops in the Caribbean, Barbados and Bahamas I have seen good shops although don't know if I saw IWC.

Are you saying Jakarta has the best prices?

The JLC was about 4-5$ about 10 years ago and like you rightly said they are probably double that price today. The reverso is so cool because they are no fakes and no other watch that looks like it. I have rarely seen anyone wearing one, not in Canada that is for sure.

Yeah, it's actually a good thing to have a watch which doesn't exist in fakes (even if from what I know, some replicas are now of astoundingly good quality, with automatic movements, ect - but it's a question of self-respect)

About JKT, it was in fact 10 years ago, and also the fact to be able to find a steel Daytona in a Rolex store was in itself a good deal.

Thanks for the Bahamas duty free shops tip, but I've no plans to travel to this region.

The Reverso is a classic that will never be outmoded. That is also what I like in my IWC or in the Bulgari, this blend of timeless sobriety and modernity at the same time - the kind of watch you never get tired of. And to come back to looks, this is also my politics, to buy (especially for the big buyings like winter coats, ect) the kind of quality stuff that'll look just as fantastic and current in six years as it will in six months.

That's probably intentional.

t-shirt roll up sleeves isn't symmetrical too. this photographer probably has paintings in his house crooked and wears different colour socks.

Don't know about what kind of boots JayD was talking about, but there's boots and boots. I wear today my Weston Beaubourg (with jeans), and it's IMO very chic and stylish boots.

@Prosal

For this casual look I think we are speaking of bigger boots like this...

I don`t fancy boots because I feel my feet look so damn long in it. I look like Donald Duck... Could be because I like slim fit jeans.

My take - sort out your body. Get your arse in the gym, get ripped, get some size on you, and then get some clothes tailored specifically for you. Don't have to be expensive or flashy, but a £50 shirt hand-tailored for your body will look better every single time than the expensive designer stuff off the peg. You can get shop bought stuff altered of course, but it's not the same.

Good point. I just inventoried my clothing and my shit is FUCKED.

Winter style is on point and fits well, I'm good at mixing the darker colors and it fits for the size I currently am.

I'm going through summer/spring stuff and its seriously lacking. Some shirts way too big, some too small, none fit right. No pants/shorts. Its cringeworthy. I'm different physically than the summer before last (last time I got clothes) and it shows.

What do you guys think of these? I have never seen anyone under the age of 40 wearing one which is kind of why it appeals to me, I tried one onm the other day and it fitted great. Only thing is I'm not sure it would go with my usual casual look which usually involves a pair of G-Star jeans and some smart Air Max 1

Harrington jackets? I like them, but I'm a fan of anything old school mod/skinhead. Rock it with some cuffed Levis and oxblood boots.

I'd recommend everyone in Europe to check out http://www.asos.com
They have nice, cheap clothes with free shipping and often have sales!

Are these jackets (Baracuda G9 or similar style jackets) more spring/fall or winter jackets? There is the flannel lining on the inside, but I can't find if it is any sort of think or thin lining.
