I would say that is pretty accurate. However, I'd also say that depending on where you go in Brickell, the girls will also likely be older than in Wynwood. Brickell girls always seemed like cheesier girls who don't really know where else to go in Miami either, in my opinion, but again, depends on which venue. It's definitely douchy guys.

That concerns me about Wynwood though i've never been. I want stereotypically hot girls, not artsy chicks with tons of tats and aggressive bangs.

Thoughts from anyone who lives here?

Miami is a weird place. It’s a city built on socializing, but people don’t socialize here. If I don’t initiate conversations with random people, barely anyone ever talks to me. Walk around and you will see plenty of people in their groups. I feel like it’s a city based on cliques. And then there’s the flakiness of people you know well or are trying to get to know. The “best” people seem the people who moved here from Broward or from out of the state.

Sometimes it’s frustrating out here, but it’s still a fun city.

Don't stay at "Miami Hostel" on Alton- I stayed there a few years ago while I was scouting apartments in Miami. Dirty and poorly run. There are much nicer hostels near Ocean Drive/Collins. I hear Ocean Blue is good.

SoBe Hostel, Miami International Hostel and Rock Hostel are your best options. The rooms (dorms) are around $25-30 a night with taxes, and the opportunity to meet backpacking women is there. They also run party buses for $20-30 that night to a club every night of the week which is pretty discounted when your going to places like Liv, and Story.

SoBe hostel is only good if you don’t care about quality of the rooms at all. The hostel beds are tiny and old as shit. On the plus side they have cheap drinks at the bar, but you can just hang out there you don’t have to be a guest to use their bar. Rock hostel is the best value - modern rooms with comfy beds in the center of south beach near all the action. You can also check out the Freehand which is nice as well but a bit far north. Don’t even think about Ocean Blue, that place is a disgusting shithole

Are you staying at the 1 Hotel? Should be a lot of models there that week. However its pretty pricey. Drinks are $25+. Be aware that there are lots of high end escorts mixed in with the models. Make sure you screen. Here is a hint. If she is extremely hot and by herself she is probably working.

You are going to want to do beach/pool party game during the day and high end club exclusive party game at night.

There should be a lot of pool parties going on during the day. At places like Delano, SLS, Hyde Beach.

At night there should be parties at Liv, Story, Ora, Rockwell, Baoli, Mokai, Foxhole, Niki Beach, Drinkhouse Fire and Ice bar.

Good spots to check out night or day Mangos and Clevlander .

Yup staying at the 1. 'Preciate the tips for not running up on a pro and the expensive ass drinks. I do pretty well for myself but I ain't trying to pay $25 for multiple drinks so I guess i'll either get a bottle or come to the pool half drunk lol

If you are staying at the 1 you can easily go from your room to the rooftop to refresh your drink or reload on airplane bottles and save yourself some cash

Hi looking for a little direction on what area to stay in and where to head out to. Travelling to Miami on business in two weeks on a Tuesday and will have that evening open. Looking for a few recommendations (will be going out probably after happy hour and coming from Pembroke), figuring I dont want to travel too far that night and want to keep my logistics tight. Alittle about me, late 30s NYer that can pass for late 20s, in good shape, either wearing a button down and jeans or suited up. Open to younger/college girls to cougars, tend to attract more white girls but dont get out as much to explore what Miami could offer, loud clubs are not really for me. Probably wont stay in SOBE, although realize visitors or tourists are ideal. Initially thinking Coral Gables or Brickell but might consider Ft Lauderdale if more central.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

last time I was in Wynwood it was a disappointment maybe it has changed. You would think Miami being tons of cubans, Venezuelans, latin women that it would be good but I have more success on South Beach in general. The one spot that is good though is blackbird ordinary on Tuesday's they do ladies night. The hostels and tourist women traveling solo there are always a good opportunity and if you pre game and don't order drinks in clubs you can go out and have a good time for 20-30$.

Great rooftop place called Sugar is you like that kind of thing
