Off to Sweden

I leave to tomorrow for Sweden and will be there for about six months. Everything has fallen into place in the last week, and I have to give props to the Swedes for being so professional and efficient and very accommodating.

A few days ago I got another cheque in the mail from them for $1000 to help with the added expenses of flights this year.

The booked me an apartment.

Rushed my residency permit.

This morning I am drinking coffee with Canadian whiskey as it will likely be the last I will drink of it in some time.

I will hit the town in Copenhagen this weekend before heading across the bridge to Sweden.

To be honest with myself I will miss my asian girls here. As my departure loomed on me I started to notice how good I have been treated by the girls here. And those sexy, curvy petite bodies are so simple. A friend gave me 1/4 of a cialis and I will pop that here soon and will spend the night dogging my cock raw.

But bring on some Scandinavian women, I need a change!

Laner - Are you going to be living in Malmo? My brother lived there for a year and I got to visit for a few weeks. Cool city, super hot babes. It's awesome you wound up with a place to live. Housing is really hard to find in Sweden.

Just outside Malmo in Lund. I have heard good things about Malmo as well.

Can you share the logistics of getting a Swedish residency permit and how long it took?

I'm assuming you have some technical expertise or have already landed a job in order to get your residency permit expedited?

Are you in Singapore right now? I remember you talking about it in another thread. You should bust out a data sheet if that is the case.

I was emailed some forms from the university, which I took to the Swedish consulate with other forms that I downloaded from the Swedish government website. I also needed to show a bank statement with available funds for the duration of the residency permit. Valid medical insurance as well.

I had two meetings with the woman at the consulate and from there she sent the information to Ottawa to the embassy. In about a month I received an email from the embassy with a PDF letter attached stating that I was to go to a government office in Malmo to get my biometrics done and get the permit.

I do but I am not sure how much of a factor this played in regards to getting the permit so quickly. I just figured that it was how Sweden operated and that was all.

Like I said, I am very impressed with my dealings with Sweden so far.

Lund is really cool too. Lund is small and laid back, but it's a short train hop to Malmo or Copenhagen if you want to get to a larger city. Funny, they claim Malmo is the crime capital of Sweden and it's one of the cleanest and safest cities I've ever been in.

Read Bang Iceland. From what my brother told me, hooking up in Sweden is pretty much exactly like how Roosh described Iceland. No dating, just drunken hookups after the bars close. They even have a term for it - "tio till två" - which means "Ten 'till Two" (ten minutes before most bars close). Also, there's a web site called Happy Pancake (http://www.happypancake.com) that one of the local players claimed he used to banged a TON of girls.

Even though a lot of people bitch about the feminism in Nordic countries, the women are among the most beautiful on earth. Totally jealous you found a way to get there. Make sure you visit Stockholm and Gothenburg at some point.

Yo Bronan, torontokid and I are planning to go on exchange to Lund or Uppsala Universities. Do you have enough info to drop a Lund datasheet?

P Dog - Fucking awesome, you guys will have a ton of fun. I don't have enough info for a Lund datasheet, but my brother might. I was only in Lund for about 6 hours and it was during the day. My brother could definitely come up with a Malmo datasheet for you guys if you're interested.

If you plan on doing a lot of traveling, choose Lund. It's closer to Copenhagen (maybe a 30 minute train ride) and Copenhagen is a major travel hub. Uppsala is a lot closer to Stockholm though. Lund will also be a lot warmer with less snow than Uppsala.

Kickin it at the Astoria in Copenhagen.

Its Saturday and a shitty scandinavian winter day. Yesterday was perfect; sunny and zero degrees. I could wander around and get my bearings without overheating. I dont feel confident in a new city without:

- Having my bags in a safe place
- Knowing the rough NSEW orientation
- A good place for a good espresso
- A good corner to perch on
- And a good area to walk in

So far Danish chicks on their home turf are pretty dope. I had one blowout (I actually needed directions, honest) with this Persian looking broad who looked at me like I was offering her a fistful of shit. I also approached an asian chick who lured me in with her heeled boots and skirt. She was cold but not interested. This was also before I realized that Asian women, even ugly ones, have a lot of value in CPH.

Most of the broads here are very chatty and have the killer bright scandinavian eyes that I love. Their eyes and voices dance a bit when they talk. Coffee shops are the best place for meeting girls I found so far. The lounges seem to be groups of friends and not too approachable. I have not been to a bar yet as I ended up pulling a girl from Montreal back to my hotel last night. It seems no matter where I go in the world, I can not resist those sexy Quebecois.

Gonna give el Jefe a shout today and kick it at the royal library.

I just wanted to bust out an informal data sheet on Copenhagen. Not that too many people on the forum will be considering it as a destination after all the negative attention it has been getting.

Copenhagen is the largest city in Scandinavia, and therefore has the Kastrup airport which is the home base of SAS airlines. This is handy and likely most people coming in and out of Scandinavia will be at least transiting Kastrup. The airport is very close the centre, about 12 minutes by train and metro that runs all night. Very nicely connected and a business friendly hub for those interested in business in this region.

Copenhagen itself is quite large, and due to the heritage of the city, it must sprawl outwards to preserve the old centre. This is not really an issue to most transiting passengers there only for a weekend (as I was) but it leads to interesting areas that lie outside the inner city that could be interesting for someone here long term.

Coming from Canada, the prices are not too different. The food in Copenhagen is not that great, unless you are willing to spring for a higher end restaurant. As a guy from Vancouver, I am spoiled with good fresh food for under $30. Here I am looking to pay $60 for something that is not quite as fresh and healthy.

Alcohol can be the same as Vancouver, sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive. Often this happens inside the same bar. Shots can be cheap, and a tray of shots can be really cheap. A low end beer can be about $10 but a decent cocktail can be the same price. Bartenders can be generous as well, even though tipping is not common.

Overall, I was not any more impressed by the women than I would be in many other cities. It was good, but not amazing. On Saturday night, there were women who looked like they were out of a magazine, but they were only about 5% of the women. Most were in the 6-8 range, which is still really good. The bar we ended up at (I cant remember the name and it doesn’t show up on google maps or street view. Its near the Parliament) was pretty stacked with girls and they were hot. It was bumping . I was out in Vestbro on Friday and most women were in the 4 – 6 range with the odd group of 7-8’s who seemed to be older.

The reception from women was really good. I approached only 7’s & 8’s and I never had any perceived bitch shields. In fact I remarked that I needed to start approaching 9’s due to the fact the 8’s were being cool. Danish guys in this situation are as good looking as the women, and are dressed very well. I dress well, but it is only enough in Copenhagen to fit in. I would recommend to others dress extremely well here in orders to pull the calibre of women you will end up wanting. Trust me.

There are lots of beautiful women out during the day, but they are often on bike. I managed only a couple conversations with them at traffic lights or when parking the bikes. The royal Danish Library was good for meeting students, although I did all my approaches outside. Inside is like any library, silence is a must.

In all Copenhagen was better than I thought due to the drubbing it took on here. But it was a bit lower than my expectations of a Scandinavian city and experiences I have had with Danish girls abroad.

Thanks to El Jefe for showing me around.

The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.
