I Know You Can Relate to THIS...

I would agree with this...idiots bumping into you constantly on the dancefloor, and people at the bar that won't let others get a drink...

I never understood guys who want to fight you simply because you stepped on his shoes, or, had an accidental drink spillage. This is juvenile, and ghetto.

It goes back to the roots of publishing your manhood/alphaness long before myspace and facebook would showcase your "status".

Back in the days when the very first Jordans came out in 1987, it was a symbol of status to own a pair, and you stepping on that "status" would imply you are also testing manhood.

It is ghetto...I got into many fist fights with Puerto Ricans because of that shit in Jr. High. Unfortunately, I had stepped on the Jordans (accidentally) of a Latin King, and the black and gold became a thorn on my back all Jr. High.

For me it's more the guy that can't dance, and keeps bumping into you or is swinging his arms spastically. People shouldn't have drinks on the dance floor, unless its in a bottle and won't necessarily spill. Accidents will happen, but if the same guy keeps doing it, things can get heated.

I definitely grew up in that culture where you were trying to keep your kicks nice and white for as long as possible, and if a cat stepped on your shit, you weren't happy...HA HA! But it isn't necessarily "ghetto." I'd be at spots out in the Hamptons, with a totally different crowd, and shit would start with guys being too aggressive on the dance floor either bumping, stepping or spilling, and power-drinking morons would get into it.

I agree with the no drinks on the dance floor thing. The girl you're gaming getting a beer shower from the drunkest guy in the place is seriously going to hurt your progress. The idiots flailing usually aren't that bad, good conversation piece. However, like MiXX said its a dominance thing. A lot of the times glaring at the guy and defeating him with body language is going to be the best option and wont escalate. My two cents. If there is a wasted jackass nearby use it as an excuse to isolate your girl, go to the bathroom if you're alone. They're always going to be there try to work it to your advantage.
