Ukraine 2019
To start off,
I'd like to thank Roosh for creating our own little fortress mostly free from the modern day clown world): and also thank all of you for being part of it. Even though I consider myself pretty confident about where I am with life, game, finances etc. this forum is still a fantastic go to place to stay on track, get some top advice and improve/reflect on numerous topics.
I've only been following for 6 months or so but amount of knowledge and comfort i've received here is immense so I just figured I will give back to the community about things I know very well. Without sounding aloof or anything, I can truly describe my Ukraine experience similar to the king of Warsaw - for the more experienced rvf'ers.( whom I happened to know since i've lived there as well). Basically, the things I experienced in Ukraine by living on and off from may 2013 until now would probably to take a book to express everything I want to but let's start ( I only visit Ukraine for extended visits now btw)
I'm a 30 year old American of EE descent ( parents ran from commies) from NYC who moved to Poland in 2011 and took off from there to Odessa for a year and later to Kiev in 2013. I've had my extreme highs as well as extreme lows and vast majority of those were a result of either my good decisions of horrific decisions. Maybe with the exception of my first year when I was still learning Ukraine. Ukraine can be an absolute hit or miss and isn't for everyone but knowing what you are looking for and being around the right people or just having the experience can take you a long way. Let me summarize this for all of you and i'll be happy to expand further either through open chat, private messages or hopefully see some of you this summer as I am back to UA from this Friday until mid August or so. Mostly Kiev to begin with and Odessa from late June.
Let me start by something important but not often talked about. It is vital to pick the right city, one size fits all approach of just showing up to Kiev or Odessa won't work. These places can be excellent but not for everybody.
Kiev: Pro's - most western of all UA cities, feels like a much smaller and less diverse NYC. Of course, without the feminism and crazy prices. Very good for guys who enjoy bigger cities and I would say have above average game and more or less decent finances. You can enjoy Kiev on the budget and by meeting 5's and 6's and do your thing but I'm just trying to show all of you whats the best way to maximize your experience in UA. Kiev I would say can be great if you don't mind spending some coin ( still will cost fraction of any major western city) and are comfortable and confident with picking up/talking to high end tail. Nightlife can be very good but mostly only if you like the glitz and blitz and don't mind dressing up etc. Again, this is much cheaper version of NYC with top top talent if you know where to go. Also, need to be experienced with all the bs women bring since there is indeed plenty of goldiggers here but for the more advanced players this can produce opportunities as well as they aren't very smart. Best place in Europe to pull your sports illustrated cover level flag. If you have what it takes.
I'd avoid this place if you don't like fast paced cities, don't like spending money going out and wont accept investing in chicks one way or another either via paying for drinks in the club or going for nicer dates. Save your energy,time and money.
I can give details on where to go and what to do this forum gets going.
Odessa: Ukraine's Miami. Goldigger central but also a good place for ONS's starting from late June. Need to bring some money especially if you want to enjoy the city and have access to top talent. AVOID local girls as they are full of shit for the most part and don't buy their bs or how sweet or hot they can appear. There are exceptions of course but trust me on this one. At least 50% of girls are coming from other parts of Ukraine or former soviet union ( moldova,belarus,some russian girls still) and you'll catch your occasional flag from other countries. Few high end nightclubs , lounges to go to and plenty of decent restaurants and bars.
Also, it is my favorite city architecture wise so if you aren't into partying it is a good city to be in for sometime and just enjoy yourself. Can day game some and take it easy. Again, just be smart as the local girls can drain your budget. Good place to come for few days or for an extended period of time. Don't come before mid June and gtfo by October. Great if you are focused and aware. Otherwise, will crash and burn.
Now let's move on to rarely mentioned Ukraine B and C. Again,I know this because due to my work and connections I had to travel all over the place. I'll mention top cities I shortlisted.
Kharkiv : those of you who read Roosh's bang Ukraine will know more about it. The city hasn't really changed since then except that it's gotten much more pleasant to be in especially downtown and lots of new spots opened up. Cafes, bars etc. New clubs as well. Bolero and Opium ( former radmir) remain top places to pick up.
Kharkiv is a much cheaper,more relaxed version of Kiev and in my opinion by far the best place to pick you up ON'S or a relatively fast UA flag. Girls are more down to earth both college age girls as well as older chicks. Good city to work on your online business or anything else you got going with not very interesting but relaxing daytime vibe but with pretty good and very cheap nightlife. Lot's of talent but much worse English than Kiev or Odessa and not as fancy if that's what you're into. Still, lots of nice places. Not much to see sightseeing wise but a good quick trip or for longer if you want to focus on your stuff, save some money but either meet a stable gf or play around. I'm not here to judge anyone so you do what's best for you.
Lviv : very nice town, has Krakow or 2nd tier Austrian vibes due to history. Very good for few days, much less materialistic than Kiev , Odessa and even Kharkiv as people here are culturally closed to Poland , especially 2nd tier Poland. Very very good value for your buck. Can enjoy a good coffee, walk around. So so nightlife but 2-3 good clubs. Great for day game and to find a stable gf. One of the easier places to pick up chicks as long as you're not arabic or black but if you are you'll still find your niche so don't get discouraged. Lot's more nationalistic than other parts of UA but nothing crazy ( i'm not a liberal btw lol ). If you really want to find a wife or a girlfriend go to 2nd tier western ukraine towns such as ternopil, ivano frankivsk or lutsk. Extremely cheap, down to earth culture and if you're a high status western you will also have a field day. I've been out 5-6 in all of those 3 towns and pulled every single time. Need some Ukrainian,Polish. Might get away with basic English as people travel now etc.
Dnipro : Had my LTR there and have some great friends. Good town for chilled guys who don't like going out and just want to enjoy traditional working class Ukrainian city with some good looking but not very easy women. Mostly family oriented. Your status is high as long as you're not a foreign student. Cheap, relaxing but " boring".
Nikolaev/Kherson : Odessa 2.0 without the architecture but much easier to have fun with the girls without risking blowing money or getting rocked by scammers. Much cheaper but much uglier. Good for older men as both cities avoid the hordes of party goers and no blitz.
I'll end with this for now. Sorry for such a long post and maybe not very consolidated but I have so much to say that it's hard to start somewhere but I'm here to take this further.
