To me, this is more evidence that the globalist conglomerates have declared war on ordinary citizens, especially men. They put corn syrup in our food to make us fat fucks, promote tattoos for women on their idiotic cable networks, and now tell us the fat ugly shrews all of that produced are "role models" we should admire.
I'm from West Virginia, one of the fattest states in the country... maybe the fattest. I remember a decade or so ago having that moniker as a huge source of shame and disparagement. I'd read comments on articles from left wing websites chiding the populations of these areas as uneducated, disgusting, obese plights on the nation.
Fast-forward a few years when the lazy, entitled, do-nothings with constant access to social media who spend their days indulging in a gluttonous stupor in carbs, IPAs, social media mentions, and blog-bitching and you find twitter fueled movements of fat acceptance.
It was all a source of comedy and derision when white, Christian, conservative, non-college educated, blue collar rubes from flyover country were overweight.
When it's a purple-haired 28 year old daughter of an attorney living NYC and blogging for Mediaite, they become an oppressed group.
