Alright it looks things are getting out of hand with negative rep points. I see people giving them not because a user was trolling or hurting the community, but because they simply don't agree with them. I'm considering disabling the negative rep feature, meaning you can only leave positive or neutral reps.

In the future it's best if you let me handle any disruption by clicking the Report button on the bottom right of an offending post. Leaving a negative rep doesn't stop the behavior, so click Report and let me use my admin tools that can help the user follow the rules. Vigilante justice may be fun but ultimately it's ineffective.
