I have a little over 1,000 shirts, some people I know have as many as 8000 shirts live. I try all different types of styles and niches. I would advise against doing a consistant brand, while I can see the appeal of doing that if someone finds one of your shirts that are selling well it makes it really easy for them to go look at all your other designs and copy them all so I almost never use the same brand twice

Another quick question. When adding a new item what is the Brand Name part? Do I have to use my unique shop name or what exactly is that?

Do you use paid advertising or are all of your Merch sales organic? Also do you ever outsource your designs? If so how much do you generally pay per design?

I don't use paid ads, I don't see a need to as Amazon provides the traffic. I've run a few FB ads here and there but the problem is you have no way of tracking conversions and also because Amazon is always showing related and sponsored products even on product pages you are potentially paying money to run traffic to your listing but then someone is shown a similar shirt to yours, buys that instead and now your paying money to drive traffic to other peoples sales.

As far as paying for designs you can hire a designer from Indonesia or the Phillipines for a couple hundred per month and get them to work fulltime cranking out designs or you can find US or more established designers and work package deals for like 100 designs at like $4 per design.

Brand name is sorta meaningless. If you want you can create all your Soccer shirts under one brand name ie Soccer Life, however there's nothing stopping me from calling my shirts Soccer Life as well and being mixed in with yours. Also people like to steal and copy designs so some people say, and I agree, that when you design under one name you make it really easy for copycats to find all your designs.

I try to put a keyword into the brand name but ultimately I think your title and bulletpoints are probably the most important thing
