Throwing a bachelor party for a close friend. Looking to avoid Tier 1 cities like LA, NYC, MIA and LV. We are looking for US destinations after ruling out Toronto (it get's slaughtered on here).

Important things:
-Solid nightlife (clubs not only bars)
-Solid strip joints
-Our $ to go farthest

Targets so far:
-Charlotte
-Chicago
-Charleston
-Savannah
-Nashville

Look into Montreal as well. Good USD to CAD rates, nightlife, strip clubs.

For strip joints, Montreal for the win. Chicago has great nightlife but if you're looking for solid strip joints, Chicago may have some of the worst ones around. Miami,Vegas are two other places you could consider but very expensive. New Orleans also.

Thanks for the replies guys. Montreal seems great but definitely but after a trip there last year I was turned off. The euro vibe and french culture/cuisine is great but I feel like being an American has lost it's value there. Not like it was years ago.

We were thinking the southern US angle might be good for some yankees that know how to own Tier 1 nightlife. At least we would be "different" and have some appeal.

Do not pick Savannah. It's a chill ass city, but not really a party city.

I've heard Tampa is fun, but I've never been there myself. Agree with above poster suggesting New Orleans.

Florida has the best strip clubs on the east coast. I've had fun with the boys hitting up strip clubs even in shitty beach towns like Cocoa Beach or Jacksonville in Florida. I heard Tampa is the best.

Expensive to get there but Guam has amazing strip clubs. Not local girls either, lots of blondes and brunettes from the mainland.

If you're ruling out Vegas and Miami I do not think New Orleans can be beat. Accommodations are cheap, tons of strip clubs, night clubs and bars, easy to get around on foot or by taxi and obviously late closing hours. Last but not least the food.

I used to live there so maybe I'm biased. Also plenty of easy tourist girls to game. I pretty much lived off of them as the local talent is severely lacking.

Bourbon Street is a $$$$ drain but it's not at Miami levels. Frenchmen St is more bars and a few club type places plus live music.

I'm not racist or anything but most of the night clubs are hip hop clubs so they're will not be many whites if that is not your thing.

Lot's of fun to be had in NOLA though. I rarely had a bad night. Be careful though as it's the murder capital of America and very easy to get robbed if you're the get drunk and belligerent type. I never had many problems crime though other few close calls here and there. Also the local thugs don't really target groups, especially groups of guys.

The NOPD has a live crime map online you can look at which will pretty much tell you where to stay away from.

Just came back from Nashville on one, I highly recommend it. Cost, food, women, booze, vibe, it's all great. Hotels are really expensive but there are some great AirBNBs.

However, based on your criteria it may not fly. Clubs arent huge, there are some club type dance floors on some of the honkey tonk bars but everything is more casual bars, live music and rooftops. Strip clubs...we really did not go, they are BYOB though and there are only 4 I believe.

Look at Austin and Scottsdale too. I've never been but know other bachelor parties go down there.san Diego may be a good option as they do have clubs, but prices get up there to party.

DO NOT GO TO AUSTIN! IT'S BECOME SJW CENTRAL All you have is dirty 6th which is a total cock/douche fest or the east, north and south Austin hipster scene where you'll be met with smug attitudes from both men and women.

Another place I lived for a year and I will never return. NOLA will beat Austin any day of the week on top of that NOLA is pretty much popping 7 days a week. Austin also closes 1 - 2am as well. Many places stop serving at 12am.

I can agree Nashville is fun, but I could not see it as much as a bachelor party spot IMHO

Yeah not feeling Austin as well. That place reminded me of Denver and Brooklyn having a baby. No thanks. I’d pick Dallas over Austin any day but it’s a terrible city logistically.

As for New Orleans, to me it’s just a Creole Key West. Lots of bachelorette parties, fat titties and tourists. The culture is unique, I’ll give it that but too much of a tourist target.

Fort Lauderdale could be an option. Miami Jr without the stuck up money hungry hoes and insane prices. It's got a nice strip on the beach lined with bars plus a few other areas that have tons of bars that are always rocking.

You're probably looking for vicinity to strip clubs and the option to party late? Texas as a whole would be out. New Orleans looks like a great option. Vegas is always there as an option, but over-played in its use in bachelor parties. Miami sounds fun, but is maybe expensive. Rest of florida large cities may be an option.

In Miami for $1000 on a weekday you can get two bottles at a premium club and you will have sex if you do that. Between 4 guys that is $250 each(plus tip). The hotel room should be close to the action and run you another $450-550 per night. You could do Atlanta for less than 1/4th of that but no guaranteed sex like bottle service in Miami. Atlanta will be fun and bottle service is $150-250, but there are not as many tourists or Colombian chicks that fuck for table service.

It was actually pretty great.

#1 destination for Bachelorette parties in the US (well, maybe after Vegas but there was an inordinate amount of Bachelorette parties versus guys). They are pretty much all basic white girls, so you need to like that scene. They were all very open though.

Went to Jack Daniels Distillery.

Lots of great meals (BBQ, hot chicken, high end).

The Honky Tonk scene really wasn't for me, but many of them had mini-clubs where they played club music. It was cool to see though. Day drinking was fun. Its something a little different.

I did New Orleans in the past too, I really like it. Both have very cool, interesting scenes that are completely different.

This reply definitely speaks to me. The same stuff works in NYC, get a few bottles at the right spot with your small crew....you're guaranteed to pull.

I guess it's hard to find something like that if you're not in NYC, LA, MIA or LV. However, I kind of want to avoid those places and find an "up&coming" spot.

If you are doing in in June, you should find a city that has a daytime pool party. I think San Diego and Scottsdale may have some of them that are decent. You may not be into it, but with San Diego you can also day trip to Tijuana and Rosarito pretty easily.

Weather in San Diego in June can get spotty though, lots of fog and marine layers.

For strip joints, hell no, god awful here. For bars, clubs, vibe etc absolutely. Chicago is probably one of the best cities in North America in the summer time. Many bars and clubs are open until 4am and they get to be open an hour later on Saturday nights so 5am those nights. Hotels are usually reasonably priced plus you can do airbnb condos. The strip joint issue might kill it as an option for you though, they really are terrible here but otherwise I'd say it would be a great option.

I second the recommendations of Miami and Nola, you can never go wrong with those two places.

Ok, NOLA is out. Miami is very expensive and it's out.
I'd avoid Cali. Someone hit the nail on the head with Savannah.

Atlanta is definitely a good option. The nightlife and strip clubs there seemed fun. Charlotte is like a baby Atlanta but the big sleeper here for what you want is...

Houston, TX.... 5th largest metro in the world (behind Dallas). Staying in the inner loop is igh population density. Very Cosmo and intl. Money goes far. TX has some of the best strip clubs, if not the best, in the entire country. BYOB full nude or topless bars. Asian massages. Hotel prices are great and it hits everything you want:

Bars and Clubs: absolutely and they're all close if you stick with certain areas.

Yankee appeal: Absolutely. I'm from the East coast and although I lost a lot of my accent, it still works for me here that I sound different. Granted, I'm from DFW and they may hear it less here. DFW isn't a bad spot either. Stay in Uptown but the vibe is more chill down in Houston. Dallas peeps are more shallow and materialistic as a whole but the TX women love east coast dudes. That will work for you more in TX than Atl or Clt where they see they're fair share of "yankees"
