Solo in Las Vegas

Guys- I know the Solo question has been asked a lot - but I'm curious what your take on it is for Las Vegas in particular.

I'm in my mid 30's but when I play the whats your age game with girls they usually think I'm I'm in my late 20's. I'm 34 (when at bars with my 27 yr old brother girls ask us who's older) and headed to Las Vegas for business and fun soon. Without being arrogant I will say I'm a good looking guy - below average dance skills. I like the younger women when possible.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on solo game in Vegas (I don't like to gamble - so hopefully the advice is not sit at Blackjack and meet girls at the table). I like lounges the most - but part of me likes the mega clubs (read samseau's dance game - I just don't have those mad skills but am not horrible - better with some alcohol!) - and I'm okay with the casino bars, too. I'm having trouble understanding how to hang out in bar/ club by myself and not look like I'm just sitting there by myself. Sitting at a bar and talking to girls as they walk by or order drinks is easy, or invite to play darts/pool/shuffleboard - its when there isn't something else to occupy my time in between approaches that is getting me.

I'd be curious on your thoughts on venue, too - any places better for solo game in Vegas?

Thanks guys-

Solo in Las Vegas

(This should probably go in the Travel Forum)

Everything I have ever written on Las Vegas is from a "dolo perspective.

Check out my blog and the forum as many of the Data Sheets are there.

There is one where I break down every single spot I hang out at.

There are plenty of threads about going solo. Combine these with gmanifesto's Vegas tips and you're set for a good time.

Here are some tips:

I should also add that Las Vegas may be the easiest city to roll solo in, in America.

Thanks guy - yes I've read up on most of the Solo threads. G - helpful stuff. I've gone out solo several times - especially when travelling for business - so its not totally foreign to me. Just always looking to improve my odds. The Suit Thing - and I probably shouldn't even ask this but wtf its fun to hear others' opinions - I don't have a fly suit - not going to get one - so when looking to hook up with younger women (say early 20's - I'm early 30's) whats your opinion on dressing down - say, nice (Seven) jeans and shoes and a cool (NOT Affliction) t-shirt - versus going a little nicer with a button down. I have a nice silk shirt, a cool "Vegas" embroidered button down shirt and a "super vegas" black silk button down with rhinestones and shit (NOT western style - sounds chessy - and maybe it is - I would only wear it in Vegas...)

The issue with this style of dress in Las Vegas is you are going to be dressed exactly like every guy in Las Vegas that is not wearing an Affliction shirt.

I go 100% Custom Suited in Las Vegas, no if's, and's or but's (so to speak).

It probably doesn't work for all guys, but I will put my Las Vegas track record up against anyone.

Thanks again G.

So where do you Solo guys like to hang out in Vegas? Any particular casino bars, clubs, lounges etc? In the past I've been to several - Light (RIP), Jet, Body English (RIP), Vanity, Blush, Hard Rock Center Bar.....last trip I met several women at various casino bars but frankly I'm really looking for the younger stuff (early 20's)? Well FRANKLY FRANKLY I'm looking for some fun 7's - 9's who are just looking for good time:-) but IDEALLY they'll be young. I'll be there during the week and can't decide about hitting the good clubs for the nights I'm there (Tues (NYNY) then the Wynn for Wed- Thurs) - or sticking with casino bars. My impression is higher odds with a less sexy, older chicks at casino bars and lower odds with younger hotter stuff at clubs. Seems a lot of the girls at clubs just want to look hot (model for the world) - not hook up. No? Plus all the young Cali girls probably don't come until Friday night...

P.S. Plus I want to avoid the "pros" - my god they are EVERYWHERE these days!!

Hit the Cosmo in City Center, its without question the new hot spot to be. Bond Bar is a decent place to start and then make your way to chandelier bar. Its great for solo game since it has 3 different levels to it so you can make your way around to each level to find girls you want to approach without coming off as a creep hitting on everything. If you have any specific questions (I live in vegas) feel free to PM me, a few other guys in the forum have before.

I went here last June: http://artisanhotel.com/barlounge/

Had a youngish, non-douchebaggy clientele, nice outdoor space, a dj (house/dnb/etc.)in one room, and was recommended by quite a few locals. Also, no ridiculous cover or overpriced drinks.

"So where do you Solo guys like to hang out in Vegas?"

http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2010/06/las...pound.html

Just had lunch with my friend who was there Labor Day.

He said hottest girls he saw were at:

Encore (in general)
Encore Beach Club (day)
Marquee in Cosmopolitan (Nightclub)
- take note of the consensus Data with Jack Frost.

"Seems a lot of the girls at clubs just want to look hot (model for the world) - not hook up. No?"

I would say "no". But then again, I prefer the Gentleman's Clubs to the Nightclubs there.

"Plus all the young Cali girls probably don't come until Friday night..."

I wouldn't worry about that, there are plenty of girls every night.

Again, Gentleman's Clubs are the answer.

In fact, the answer to any question about Las Vegas can be summed up with two words: Gentleman's Clubs

Make sure you report back on your findings.

I can back up G's data about Wynn/Encore and Cosmopolitan having the hottest talent on Labor day.

The Cosmopolitan crowd however is the one that follow trends and just want to be at the hottest place for the moment. At Wynn/Encore you will find women who just want the overall classiest experience.

Personally I prefer the latter crowd as it resonates with my lifestyle and tailored suit get up. If you insist on doing Vegas more low key though The Wynn crowd is not likely to really take note of you.

Of the experiences I had during my week in Vegas 90% of the quality action came at the Wynn and 1% from nightclubs. Add to that the exorbitant costs of grease, cover and watered down overpriced drinks at the clubs. Terrible ROI, despite the target rich environment.

I could add a lot of info and advice but it would mainly be variants of G's.

Good info - guys - thanks. Artisan Lounge looks very cool - how is it on a Tues, Wed , or Thurs? Is it afterhours only? Did some quick Interzwebz searches and didn't come up with anything [yet]. Yeah - tha damn clubs - Vicious you said it - very target rich but my success there is nothing to brag about - they are fun and and just so damned tempting tho. Bastages.

Artisan is 24/7. Not sure how the mid-week scene is. I do remember talking to a lot of girls that bounced there from Marquee.

I'm going to vegas in a couple of weeks and will make sure to report back.

@ thegmanifesto: I'm gonna be there a full week; would you recommend going to the gentleman's clubs on friday and saturday night or to avoid those nights?

I imagine those nights would have the most and hottest girls working but there are also gonna be more dudes...

thanks

Zanetti: To me the rule of thumb in Vegas is that you want to do everything opposite of what others are doing (with class). Thus in this case if the crowd is going to SR on a weekend you're going in the middle of the week. Oh, and don't worry about the quality of the girls. Your cup will runneth over.

Last time I was in LV, the Rhino was a letdown on a Saturday night. Problem was we went to Sapphire first, where the girls were super-hot, friendly (ie, hanging out, talking, sitting on laps, etc. without asking for money or pushing for dances), and the place wasn't crowded. Although we had bottle service, so ymmv.

SR was absolutely packed to the brim with sausages. No place to sit. Dancers were aggressive and rude; wouldn't give you the time of day unless you paid for a dance immediately. I can't even remember how the quality was, just had one drink and bailed.

Go during the week to Gentleman's clubs.

Personally, I would go every single night.

I have seen it that way too.

I would wager you were there about 12-1am right?

On weekends you want to get there about 3:30am.

Yeah, I knew it.

Timing is key in Las Vegas.

Ok I don't smoke (cigarettes) - but that doesn't mean I can't use some Cigarette game right!

Lighter - check.

Cigs - OK what kind should I have on me? Does it even matter?

Doesn't make much of a difference. But if you're not really going to be smoking you might as well get something that stands out even if it's more expensive. I always get a positive reaction from black Sobranies. You may have to get them in a specialist tobacconist shop.

Ok just thinking - somebody had mentioned Blue Martini - I undertand it's more local crowd.

All else being equal - do you think it is easier to get visiting girls (preferably younger but...) from, say, the Bond Bar or Chandelier Bar in City Center or local girls from a place like the Blue Martini to come back to your hotel room? Plus I hear Tuesday is college night at Blue Martini :-) Wonder if a college girl there would go back to a guy's hotel room....

Definitely more a local crowd at Blue Martini wed night is ladies night so the place is usually packed. I think itd be tough to pull a local from Blue Martini back to your hotel unless you had a good hook. Shes probably gonna be there in a big group of her friends so youre gonna have some obstacles to overcome. Its 100 percent easier for a tourist to pull a girl at Bond or Chandelier in my opinion.
