Joao Pessoa data sheet

Excellent morning, from Joao Pessoa.

Been living here and going out for about a month out of two. For one month was really busy with a girl, so going out was less. It's carnival time here too and there definitely are cute girls, Portuguese is pretty important as most do not speak English. There are concerts weekly, at some of the top places, Dona Branca, Chop Time, Lovina, or now street parades. On Saturdays they have an afternoon party in the downtown area called Sabadinho. Haven't gone yet to Pink Elephant (just opened), or Bessa beach which appears better than Cabo Branco on weekends. Malls, 2 big malls now (one recently opened), which weekends afternoon on are fine. About 5 nice gyms as well in city.

With the exchange rate it is advantageous, and people in general are nice and friendly. Happy to answer any questions from anyone.

With that said, if anyone else is here in the city, would be fun to go out and meet cute cool girls. Since, or example, at the street parties, electronic concert, all girls (or 99%) are with a mini group of girls and guys, it'll be a win win for all.

Thanks!

WT, how are obesity levels now in JP? In Fortaleza, it was pretty bad. If it weren't for that I would highly recommend Fortaleza to live in.

Excellent question.

If I focus on just the type that I prefer, which is slender, athletic, cute, then it's fine, but if I actually look at everyone, there are quite a few who are getting the pounds on.

There are definitely (coming off the carnival) many who are slender and cute, and Brazilian sexy.

So, I'd say, with your Portuguese, it's fine.

I was only in Fortaleza for 2 days for one of the Federacao games and I saw just one cute girl. I know that sounds ridiculous, probably very bad luck or just the game was attracting guys. So, in comparison, despite being a much smaller city, I'd say there is a low to medium affect from the obesity epedemic.

At the gyms, for example Prodigio, one of the nicer gyms, there are cute slender girls, but not nearly as many, as for example in Poblado at Mall Oeste. Maybe 1/50th.

The street fairs/carnival I saw the highest number and most were friendly, open, and easy to meet, you're cute, qualify her a bit, find out about, let's go to beach... in Portuguese. With your fluent Portuguese it would be easy.

Beach, met some slender ones as well.

So long answer for a short question, I'd say it's decent, not overflowing with them of course, and depends on finding an event, as that increases the concentration and really makes time much more efficient.

I'm still looking at a 2nd city for 6 months a year and thought about JP as the one, but still considering others at this point. Any recommendations, very much welcome.
