Anyone had success with specific openers in Brazil? I've been alternating between asking "do you speak english?" and just going up to them and starting a conversation in English.

The latter seems to work better but I think that there's some room for improvement there. Any ideas?

That's funny because I'm Russian.

The other thing that worked REAL well in Argentina was "Do you like Russian guys?"

They would either answer "Yes" and blush or just asking me a bunch of questions.

As long as it's in english, i don't think it matters much.
